And she looks great. She was very feisty this morning and it took the tech a while to take all her measurements. Got visual confirmation that she is indeed a girl and she is measuring over a week ahead (she was on the NT scan too). All organs and measurments are normal, only thing that stood out is I have a low-lying placenta, about 1.7cm away from the cervical opening. A quick google read says it could still move as the uterus expands (I'm 18 weeks now), so I guess I won't worry about that for right now? I assume that means I'll probably have another ultrasound in a few weeks to recheck that.
Yay! Great news! I had a low lying placenta at 19 weeks, but by 29 weeks it had moved to the right place. Don't worry!
Did you have any restrictions in the meantime on sex, exercise etc?
Nope. My doctor sent me a really long email explaining it wasn't a previa and no restrictions were necessary. She also drew me a picture about how your uterus grows that showed it would likely move everything up.
It was still in the back of my mind, but everything's been fine. And the ultrasound at 29 week was amazing! So cool to see a fully formed, moving around baby. You will love it!

Congrats! Glad it went well and fx things stay on track with the placenta! We have our scan on Friday. How long did it take? Trying to figure out how much work I'll miss.
Based on what I know, the placenta will move up and away from the cervix, but that also means they're likely to go check on it again and you can see the baby

noodleoo we were there just about an hour. I've heard it's not always that long but she was feisty so it took them a while to get all the shots they needed.
At one point when the tech had been prodding her for a while, she flipped right over and showed us her butt. She was like no more pics PUH-LEEZE!!
