4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe!
1. TTC since Nov. '13, Cycle 3 AL, CD 10 2. Starting OPKs tomorrow. 3. Annoyed FW is during Christmas week, but I guess we'll just be getting busy in the IL's guest room! 4. I really like the lemon cheesecake my mom makes. Also Edwards French Silk Pie from the frozen section. Lol. No recipe for that one!
2. Nope, apparently I O'd like 4 days before I was expecting it. WTH body of mine?
3. Just looking forward to next year and hoping that things work out.
4. I like ALL THE DESSERTS. I guess if I had to choose it would be either Italian rainbow cookies or a tiramisu. I have never tried to make either, I leave that to the experts.

1. Where are you in your journey? TTC since Jan 2012, Cycle 21 TTCAL, CD15
2. Are you testing this week? Just OPKs
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? Have our follow up meeting with the RE tomorrow which I'm looking forward to because it means we'll have a plan. I really like our new RE and am optimistic about something working for us in 2015.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! I cannot pick just one, I'm going with the entire category of PIE!
HoneySpider, any thoughts on what your plan will be? Will you go with IUIs?
Yes, barring any abnormal test results (which we are not expecting since everything was fine the last time we did testing but you never know) our plan is to try a couple of IUIs first. As of right now we have no reason to believe it won't work so might as well start there.
1. Where are you in your journey? Nearing the end of Cycle 13. I'll probably start Cycle 14 tomorrow.
2. Are you testing this week? Not this week.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? Started a vitamin regimen for DH at the advice of the nurse. Next step for DH is to go to the Urologist to check for anything physical. I have given him the information. I'm not going to push getting him scheduled before Christmas. I know we both want to enjoy the holidays. If he calls them beforehand, great. If not, we'll wait until after the new year.
I am PISSED my doctor's office haven't given me the official SA numbers yet or posted them to the online portal. Telling a girl that her DH's numbers are "QUITE abnormal" then not giving me anything to actually look at is reeeeeallly awful. I had to really pray about not being anxious this weekend. I called the place that actually administered the test. They won't release results because I signed off for them to go to my doctor. Now, I know my doctor's office says they will have results posted within 72 hours. I'm considering today that deadline and will call medical records again today.
Update: I called them at 10:15 for results. The girl calls me and tells me the results are still with my doctor, oh-did you know her husband is a urologist (here's his info), and I'll call you right back with the numbers. It's almost 12 now with no return phone call. Why the need to NOT give me the SA results? Also, I'd like to stop being crazy, kthanksbye.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! I'm not really a dessert person.
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC since Dec 2013. TTCAL Cycle 2, CD 24, 11 DPO
2. Are you testing this week? During the weekend, if AF doesn't show up on Friday
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? This week is the one year anniversary of when we started trying. I really thought I'd be pregnant by now...
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! Ice Cream. Right now I'm loving Talenti ice cream, especially salted caramel and mint chocolate chip. So good!!

1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 since August 2013. Currently on BCP in prep for IVF in January.
2. Are you testing this week? nope
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? We were reading paperwork last night for our IVF. The medications are a bit overwhelming and we can't decide if we should transfer 1 or 2 embryos.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! Red velvet cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. OMG yum.
Is there a reason for this?? I just want some clarity and some FRICKIN numbers! Serioiusly, why ARE they being shady with the numbers? What's holding them back from providing this info?
2. Maybe this weekend. I kinda want to test on Friday, even though I will only be 10 DPO, because I want to do it before our RE appt. that day.
3. First RE appt. this Friday. Kinda nervous. I already had CD 3 blood work that was normal and DH had a SA that was normal. We have to talk about draining the cysts on my remaining ovary in addition to the fertility stuff. And CD 1 is due on Christmas Eve so that should be AWESOME! (not...)

1. Where are you in your journey? TTC since Nov. 2013, CD 12
2. Are you testing this week? I think I'll O this weekend, but I'm taking a break from OPKs this cycle.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? We got the results of DH's semen analysis from last week and OMG it was SO MUCH BETTER than the last one! There are still some motility concerns, however his count is way, way, way up, and motility was improved. This gives me so much more hope that we can either do this on our own, it just might take some time, or, if we move to IUI, that we have a much better chance of IUI working and not have to consider IVF for a while at least. Huge weight off my shoulders for now, and we are going to discuss IUIs over the holidays and decide on a plan for 2015.
Is there a reason for this?? I just want some clarity and some FRICKIN numbers! Serioiusly, why ARE they being shady with the numbers? What's holding them back from providing this info?
It may be an issue of getting someone who can actually explain the results to call you, instead of just the normal nurse to read the numbers. I know that I've gotten a different nurse than normal the two times my H has had a semen analysis because he does have some issues and they get someone to go through each number and explain what it measures, where they want the number to be, and his numbers in comparison.
Hoping that you hear something today, I know how stressful the waiting is!

Thank you. That actually makes sense to me.
I'm just at my wits end. Her first nurse just gave me a generic "QUITE abnormal." When I asked her for specifics, she started doing something that sounded like she was thumbing through papers then said, "They've sent them down to enter in medical records." This was Thursday. I called back today for an update and requested to be transferred to medical records. I was told that I couldn't do that...I had to talk to a nurse. I get that. I do. Then they have my doctor's other nurse call me back. She gives the same general spiel, "You were told your next step...to get a Urologist appointment." I respond to Captain Obvious, "Yes. I'm aware of that. I just want..." (she cuts me off) "I know....the numbers." She then says that the doctor is holding on to them (contradiction to what I was told on Thursday) and that she (the nurse) will call me RIGHT BACK with the results. That was at 10:15. If by Thursday, I don't get an updated phone call, I'm submitting a written request. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to wait until we have to submit them to the Urologist for a few reasons...
Update: As I finished typing this, they call back. They're going to mail a copy of the results to me. I appreciate that since I sensed my level of crazy reaching defcon 11. They just told me to call back if I have any questions.
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 since March, now with MMC and CP. CD9.
2. Are you testing this week? I'll start OPKs tomorrow just to be sure I don't miss ovulation, since I used to O on CD11.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? I got a call back from the RE already! They put in an order for CD bloodwork, an HSG, and a SA. I won't be able to do mine until next cycle anyway, so I told H he can hold off on the SA until then too.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! All of it! I swing back and forth, but I'm into sweets right now. The molasses cookies I made for Christmas are pretty near perfect.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? DH is getting his second SA on Monday to confirm abnormalities. I am anxious to see if they show the same thing as before but will have to wait. With the holidays I suspect we won't know anything until the new year.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! Um I eat an italian ice every night. If I am out I might order a creme brulee. I am not huge into chocolate.

I'm glad you're finally (hopefully) going to get results soon! I would be super frustrated if I was you, too.

1. Where are you in your journey? Well - as of this past Friday the Ute is occupied. I am 4weeks 2days but not getting too excited due to the last chemical pregnancy. I am not setting up any expectations until I get to 6 weeks, maybe.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? I can't complain. This one feels stickier, but I also have less and completely different symptoms at this stage than last time. SO I really have no idea. I am trying to figure out how to fake my way through the office Christmas booze fest on Thursday.
4. What is your favorite dessert? Bonus points for recipe! I'll have to post it sometime but I love making Berry Pavlova at Christmas. It's a traditional Australian/New Zealand Christmas dessert that we got from an exchange teacher and it is so good and light and fluffy and completely the opposite of everything else you eat at Christmas. Yum!
