We got a new iron and the buttons for steam and water spray are reversed from our old one. Yesterday I accidentally sprayed water at the cat, and today G sprayed himself right in the crotch and had to change pants. lol

My uncle will be joining us for Christmas again! He used to have to always work on holidays (xray tech at hospital), but I guess he's moved up in ranks and has more vacation time. He doesn't drive and works odd hours, so we rarely see him. My so excited to hang out with my weird uncle!

*sorry for the long response*
We got a note on our door asking if we could keep the dogs inside because one of them was barking for an hour every morning (stated the time it was happening - which was right around when we both leave for work) and it was waking up her babies and disrupting sleep. They do not do this when we are home and I was wondering if they had the right house (we aren't the only ones with dogs on our street) and since we have a dog door, they just go out when they want and aren't "left" outside all day.
So yesterday, I set the house alarm and went to the car like usual, and waited about 5 mins to see if it was our dogs. Sure enough, they are correct... our pup went out back within that 5 mins and started barking in the backyard at seemingly nothing. We had thought they are only barking when provoked by noise or something.... so I feel bad and had no idea she's doing that or when she started doing that. I was so mad I went in and scolded the dog and shut the dog door so they couldn't go out all day. No messes or anything when I came home, but I'm dreading the day I come home and have some sort of accident to clean up if they can't get outside and need to pee. I don't live close enough to go home at lunch each day to let them out, or it would take up my entire lunch break, so I guess they will just have to be shut in until this barking behavior stops. (it's only one of the 2 dogs that appears to be doing this). At first I scoffed at the letter thinking they must be mistaken, our dogs wouldn't just bark incessantly that early in the morning - but nope, they are correct and hopefully this will help them get sleep again and I feel terrible that I didn't know it was going on. :? It was an anonymous letter so I don't even know who put it there, but hopefully they will see some improvement.
I talked to my aunt last night about what we were going to do for Christmas Eve dinner, and she wants to do a variation of the Italian 7 fishes that they did growing up, which basically means YAY SEAFOOD as the theme! I'm going to make a lobster pot pie type of thing, (maybe lobster) mac & cheese, and seafood marinara with shrimp, scallops and clams.
My aunt told me she was going to buy canned lobster because she "doesn't kill things", and I was like, no worries, I'll kill them! There is no damn reason to use frozen/canned lobster in fucking New England. lol
I just found out my sister won't be there for Christmas Eve because she has to work (she works second shift at a lab). Stupid grown up job.
