I bought my H new handweights and a new duffle bag as part of his Christmas present. My plan was to wrap the weights in tissue paper and put them in the duffle and then wrap the duffle. I tried this morning and damn that thing is heavy and wrapping the duffle bag is rediculously akward and hard.
Anyone have a creative idea of what I can do instead?
Just wrap everything separately? I was thinking of just getting one of those huge gift bags and putting everything in there or putting the weights in a box and wrapping that and then doing the duffle separate (it's easy to wrap when it's flat).
Weights in a box. OR, if you really want him to have something to unwrap, then maybe make some cheesy paper cut-outs of weights, put THOSE in the duffel bag, and wrap that. Then when he unwraps the bag and finds the cutouts, tell him you have the real weights set aside but they were too heavy to wrap.
I have one of those "Bike Bags" I was going to use as an alternate but I think I will go the box route and put the weights in the box and then wrap the duffle separate.
If you'll be putting the gifts under the tree, can you just cover the whole thing with a cloth (maybe something like a big gym towel, so it's part of the gift), and then "unveil" it as you're unwrapping gifts?

This is exactly what I'd do, but I take a pretty practical approach to gift wrapping.
I ended up finding a box to put the weights in (I taped up the bottom a zillion times to reinforce it) and wrapped that. I wrapped the duffle seperately. Everything is under the tree now. I have officially wrapped every present in my possession. The only thing left for me is the fitbit I ordered last night.
