I don't know much about watches but I want to buy my husband a watch for a graduation gift. My budget is up to $400.00. He already has a nice Bulova and an Invicta watch. I'd like to go with another brand but not sure which. Any suggestions?
I've seen some Citizen watches that look quite nice. They are at various price points, starting around $100 and up.
In my area (Detroit) Shinola watches are very sought-after but pricey ($500+). There might be some for sale for less than that on ebay.
Detroit represent! We just bought a gorgeous Shinola for a Christmas gift but it was closer to $600. But they're made here and support the city so it was worth it to us
You can often find Swiss Army at Sam's Club for under $200. DH has one that's got to be 10+ years old. Skagen makes nice watches at that price point. You can usually find Burberry at Fossil outlets; they're made by the same company.
Thanks for all your input. I ended up searching for a wish list for DH on Amazon and he actually had one and he had a watch on it. FX that it is a watch he still really wants.

Christopher Ward is from the UK but their movements are Swiss. DH is into watches, but we aren't in a position to buy a swanky watch so this was a good option. I got him an automatic (no battery), but they have quartz, as well. They have styles in your price range and are probably higher quality than more common brands that sell for the same amount. If you sign up for email they often have sales/coupons.
I got my H a really cool solar powered g shock and he wears it almost everyday despite the fact that he has fancier watches. I think I paid $250 for it. His favorite fancy watch is a Tissot. It doesn't have a battery. It winds as you move. They are kid of spendy though. I think you'd be looking a closer to 500-600.
