I feel like I have asked this before but I searched my post history and also used the search function on the board and came up blank so here we go (again?).
I am interviewing for a new position within my current company. It would be considered a promotion but I am fairly familiar with the job requirements/responsibilities/etc.
I don't know what to ask when they ask me if I have any questions. I don't feel like there is anything they would be willing to answer in an interview/without an offer that I don't already have a general idea of.
What questions do you ask for INTERNAL interviews? Are they the same/similar or totally different then the questions you ask when interviewing as an external candidate?
My questions were very specific to the role. I already knew about who would be my direct reports, the actual job itself, but I focused on things that indicated I did my research.
You may want to ask about how you will be reviewed on your work. What will be measured and how. What timeline will there be for what you do, projects you work on. How many projects will you work on at any one time and how is your time expected to be divided among them.
