R: I just sucked down a medium coffee in like 3 minutes and want another. I don;t even like coffee that much, I just wanted the caffeine..lol
R2: DS Dr we have been trying to get to school called me on way to work, the school SP Ed Dept contacted him to set up a conference call. Things seem to be moving in the right direction.
AW: I got a big fat unexpected bonus from work today along with a raise....yay!!!!
V: DS1 is getting sicker by the day (just bad cold) so I really need some good vibes sent my way that he is feeling a little better today so I can have my date with DH tomorrow. I will be really annoyed if I have to cancel. grrrrr

Yay for big fat bonuses and raises! Especially this close to the holidays!
R: I love my hardwood floors but damn they are cold. I need to find my slippers because my feet are like ice.
AW: waiting on 2 packages in the mail and then Christmas shopping is done!
V: DH has still not ordered/purchased me anything for Christmas. For the last few years I have gotten my own gifts because he will procrastinate and procrastinate and procrastinate. Last year he said that it made him feel bad so I told him that I would stay out of it. I wound up with a $20 gc to Starbucks on valentines day (that he purchased that afternoon, I dislike our local Starbucks because the parking is horrible), I told him about a specific pair of boots I wanted for my birthday. He didn't order them and they sold out so he gave me $$ instead. Yes, running around trying to find myself boots is just how I wanted to spend that day! And now it's Christmas....I let him know that today is the last day for guaranteed delivery for online orders but I have a feeling he will be at target buying god know what at 9:45pm on Christmas Eve...much like how he was at walgreens last year at midnight buying me stocking stuffers.
R: I sucked down my coffee in record time as well and I want more too.
AW: I got dds bus info last night and I am just so excited for her to start speech. I told her she gets to ride a bus and she was so excited about going and carrying a backpack. I just can't wait to see all the things she learns
V: My stomach is not right. It's just a little upset and my head hurts. I think my healthy days are numbered.

R- the snow is melting here Aw- it's my son's preschool party today. He's so excited. There is a craft, a play, and a light lunch. I ended up buying the fruit platter since everyone here has been sick and I don't think people wanted coughed on fruit! I also ended up getting the teachers a nice bar of dark chocolate each since I didn't end up getting to the bakery this week. V- sickness! I feel like I'm coming down with something too and hoping to rally through the party (bring my brother to help with ds2), and then rest.

Aww - this stinks. It is not even about the gifts but it seems like an after thought which is kind of hurtful. Hopefully he shows you in others ways that he thinks of you. Some people are just better gift givers than others. My sister is amazing an always so creative. She finds the most unique gifts. idk how she does it but I struggle with it. I need lists. lol
R: I'm craving an AM crunchwrap from Taco Bell. Don't judge
AW: DD slept good last night for the first time in ages
V: 3 times I have called my insurance for an itemized copy of a bill I paid a few months ago. 3 times they've sent me the same bill except that where it says amount owed it says $0 instead of $100 as on the original bill. This is not helpful morons!!!

That's exactly it, I feel like an afterthought. I know he is always crazy busy at work but how hard is it to spend 10 minutes ordering something from a link I sent him?!?!
He does show me in other ways that he cares and will surprise me with things here and there but this is just a thorn in my side and stresses me out every holiday. I need to just let it go!
R: DH hasn't gotten me a gift for christmas in years. It doesn't bother me - he's not very good at finding things I want and spoils me otherwise.
Aw: DH just invited me on a trip he's taking to park city for work in a few weeks. Three days with no kid and I get to spend it at a fancy hotel with room service and spa treatments.
V: with all the rain two trees have fallen on our property.

That sounds amazing. I told DH that I want a weekend at a fancy hotel downtown all by myself for Christmas. I'm hoping he comes through...
R-h and I aren't doing gifts to each other this year since we just bought and moved into our second house. We would rather spend money on exterior paint and light fixtures. Old farts lol.
Aw-I have been super productive this am but like CJ, I'm jacked on coffee.
Aw2-my work Christmas party is tomorrow night and my h changed his schedule so we can go together. Date night, yay!!!!

YUM!
In college there was a taco bell right on the outskirts of campus- so walking home we'd be like, 'no, don't give in to drunk munchies!!!!!!' then we'd wake up to a taco bell graveyard in our common room hahaha

R- I still haven't done the majority of my Christmas shopping.
AW- I went to stroller strides twice this week and it feels really good to be working out again.
V- My mom's assisted living center is horrible. Her MS has recently gotten worse and the staff has been giving her a hard time about having to give her extra help. She's had a couple falls and is all bruised. I'm trying to find a new home for her and the process is stressful!

Round 2, now that the day has progressed.
V: I am driving DH's car today, and I loathe the car seat we bought for it. After half an hour on the side of a busy street trying to freaking unlatch the thing so I could move the straps, and slicing my finger open in the process, and then having the damn straps twist every time I buckled them, I called amazon and will be returning it tomorrow. I'm just going to buy another Britax, which I should have just done in the first place.
AW: DD is painting pictures for everyone for Christmas, and I love all of them. She is doing such a wonderful, careful job, and is having so much fun.
R: I had planned for DS to fingerpaint little canvases for his Christmas gifts, but it turns out he hates paint. On his fingers, on a brush, in his general vicinity. Hates it all.

That's how I feel every time I use a non-Britax seat. Even though they get hate for being expensive and having short shells.
I will gladly pay more for their ease of use. And short shells work just fine for my short kids.
