I hate my new haircut to the point I might cry

ETA: I'm really not going to cry about it. Just bitch about it. Luckily my hair grows like a weed and in 10 days it should even itself out a bit.

Look at the awesome cut and then the disaster cut. I showed her the picture of my hair cut. Augh. I might have to straighten my hair for a while. I hate straightening my hair.

I'm sorry you've been traumatized.

Earlier in the year I had an awful experience myself. They thinned my hair. Now it still doesn't even curl correctly.

Aw, don't cry, Jenny! It's definitely not the same cut as the other photo, but it's not terrible. Have you tried pinning back/up the sides a little bit, to make a rounder shape? I have to do this when I'm overdue for a haircut and my layers get all pyramid-y.

Jenny, you are too cute to worry about this! She cut it too short, but it's definitely not awful!

But I have had two traumatic incidents where they cut my bangs too short in the last year, and it totally fucking sucks (even though my hair grows fast too). So, my advice:  pin it up and :drink: :drink: :drink:.

I'm sorry you are disappointed, but honestly I don't think it looks bad. If you walked past me, I'd be admiring your pretty smile and your boobs before noticing the hair cut. ;-)

Yes. The first one cut my hair once and then retired.
I went to this other chick, but just for a little trim. I decided to recreate the first cut and got this instead.

It doesn't help that growing up I was the only sister with curly hair and they called me Jennifeefee. Because Feefee sounds like a poodle. I'm scarred LOL And I'm still sporting my pouty face for these photos

Yup. It's all I get. She was trained but didn't really follow the "rules." Also, I knew more about going "curly girl" than she did. She didn't know about natural cleansers (baking soda, conditioner with a vinegar rinse) or the fact that I can't use silicone products since I don't use a sulfate (or any) shampoo. She was pushing a few products with them in it. She also didn't know what to look for in the ingredient list. 

Back to the Deva-stylist drawing board.
