so my temps have been consistently high the last 4 days (usually they drop a few days before AF, then go up, down, up and then down on CD1). so i was optimistic, maybe this is it, wouldn't it be nice to have a "christmas miracle", blah blah blah.
yeahhhhh, turns out it's just a low-grade fever from cold DH gave me. AF started around lunchtime. so this will be cycle 15, and a year off BC...and ONE cycle charting where AF was even a hint of being late.
DH is looking up insurance info today, to see if we need a referral to get testing done.

and honestly, having you ladies to vent to makes things A LOT easier. no one else i know IRL has had any trouble at all, so it's nice to not feel all alone.
I hear ya on not having anyone IRL to vent to and really appreciate this little safe haven. I will find out in the next day or so if AF comes and if my Christmas miracle will be crushed. I am hyper sensitive about every pang in my uterus - is it a cramp or is it something else?

Hugs. Sometimes a good cry really does help - and remember, you are definitely not alone in this process. And feel better soon, both about AF and from the cold.
I am so sorry and I am right where you are. Off BCP for just over a year, 16 cycles in, never really late. I got testing done and it really helped to be proactive and doing whatever I could, I strongly recommend it--making the calls with your insurance is a great start. Please enjoy your mulled wine and know we are all here for you. Huge hugs.
