Let me tell you, it was a dark day in our house when our internet went down and I realized that we had no idea how to even access the broadcast channels on our TV. We've exclusively watched Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming services for so long neither of us could remember how to switch the TV from our streaming Blu Ray player to standard channels.
It's actually the modem, not the Internet itself. Gotta go get a new one tomorrow-boo.
At one point, H was like "we can get Netflix through my Xbox." And we were both all "oh, okay!" Until we realized that no, no we can't. Not without THE INTERNET.

H and I are not up with technology. We have basic cable. No kindles, xboxes, apple tv, netflix on tv, amazon whatever, roku or whatever that is, and I don't know what streaming is or a blu ray player.
I do have an iphone!! With like, 5 apps. LOL.
Forget 13, our 2.5 year olds are going to be mortified by us by the time they are 4.
I don't know how people can give up the lottery aspect of broadcast TV. It's like the radio. Its fun not knowing exactly what is going to come on or if you'll experience something new you'll like.
