My random - I'm going to need to start reading the Disney threads. M was saying the other night that he wants to visit Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Pluto & Goofy. It was so adorable to hear & DH's face just light up. He is so excited about taking M to Disney. He said he ironically had been researching trips that day & wanted to stay in the hotel with the train that goes through it
I may be calling on your Disney wisdom Brie @starry @notquiteblushing
Also, @supergreen, has he done a sleep study or gone to a doctor to discuss possible apnea? Snoring and...grumpiness...are definitely apnea side effects.
So is falling asleep watching TV & generally feeling tired all the time.
@supergreen, don't be like my parents who "lived" with terrible snoring for 30+ years. My dads snoring used to wake the whole house up, it was awful. When he finally got a sleep study and a cpap it was life changing for both of them. Your dh is being so disrespectful.

DS2 only woke up to nurse 1 time from between 10:30p and 7:30a. Yay! DS1 left his room 7 times between 8p and 6a. Gah!
Why is it such a guarantee that when the baby sleeps the older one doesn't? He is lucky he gets to go to his daycare Christmas party today rather than be home with a grouchy mom. I am considering putting the gate on his door again. At least that way I can lay in bed and ignore him.
I have a suuuuuuuuper dumb question. Is it OK to pair an ivory duvet cover with bedding that includes a white blanket and shams if there are other colors in the bedding? I got this duvet cover:
To go with my existing bedding (new bedding package is on there for color comparison):
Will the ivory blend in okay or is it going to look bad? I could also get this one in white but I don't like the style as much.
Just realized that I left my wallet at home in the diaper bag. Which means no last minute Christmas errands at lunch. That kind of screws up my whole weekend because now I'll have to sneak in a Target trip to an already packed weekend. Damnit!
We have had a leak under the kitchen sink since before Thanksgiving. DH thought he fixed it, but apparently not. The cabinet under the sink is empty with a bucket under the garbage disposer b/c we think that's where the leak is really come from. Ugh, I hope he can fix it this weekend. I want a new kitchen, but hopefully next fall.
I really want to get a couple things done this weekend and holiday break. Need to talk to DH about the project list.

This is my life right now. DS started sleeping decently and when he's up it's a pretty consistent time. Now for the last week, DD has been on our floor, up every twenty minutes and just shrieking incoherent stuff in her sleep.
page you can try and it'll probably look fine/blend in (like a tone on tone look). Personally, I don't think I can do it. I've tried it with toss pillows and throw blankets and the ivory color just always ends up looking dirty rather than intentional against the white, kwim?

Brie - is Mucinex DM safe to take during pregnancy? I know it's safe while nursing but I can't remember if it was on my safe pregnancy meds list. It's my go to whenever I have congestion & sinus pressure. Hope you feel better soon!
My plan for SIL and BIL's gift this whole season was to get them a gift card to this local winery/restaurant place they love.
There's a wine club that I think sounds awesome, but I'm not sure if they'd prefer an annual, once a month thing or a two bottle a month for 6 month option. Or if they'd not prefer that at all and would rather just go out to dinner a few times. So, GIFT CARD, amiright?
Except, the place won't allow a gift card for payment for the wine club, so there goes that idea. I found this out yesterday and then wandered around trying to buy them something this morning and I have no clue. I just want to be done with this part.
My kid hates the highchair now. She just cries and says "chair chair" to sit in the regular one. If we agree, then we spend the whole meal getting her to sit in the chair and eat. Ugh.
My mom is bringing a booster down, I hope that this shiny new thing will get her to sit in it. It's not like she's in a separate high chair even. We have the FP one that attaches to the chair.
DS refused the boater seat around 18 months and he's sat at the table (pub height) since then. Can't she just sit at the table?
She can, even though she's a bit low, but she won't sit still. She's on her knees, turned around, looking for the dog, etc.
I would let her sit in the chair if she would sit and eat.

DD was a rockstar on our flight. She was asleep 30 minutes in (fell asleep while watching Shrek) and woke up about an hour before landing and was generally pleasant. She melted down in immigration but oh well. Then she had a 15 minute car nap, we kept her up all day with sugar and cousins and she fell right asleep at 5:30.
I am currently soaking in my ILs new guest bath and about to go to bed.
So apparently one of the people in my office has been bitching to other people about how I came into the office yesterday with a cold. A cold. Yes. I was stuffed up (only yesterday) and my voice is shot to hell. But damn it-I'm not taking a sick day because of a cold. I'm hardly coughing and I'm in my own office. If you don't like it, stay away from me. I get not wanting to get sick, but quit the bitching.

I'd just pick one of the monthly options - they don't have to drink it right away, so I wouldn't worry about the frequency.
I'll do this if I can't figure out anything else. DH has hated this idea for them all along so I'm going to construe this into needing uninterrupted, child free shopping outing this weekend. And then probably go to Starbucks and buy things for myself because that's typically what I do while shopping for others. I bought myself two shirts at Old Navy just this morning lol.
Anyone see anything funny and cat related like the cats in space leggings of years past?
This is definitely a first world problem, but I can't wait until DD sizes up in clothing. She has so many clothes in the 0-3 month range that it is overwhelming. Most were gifts or hand me downs, so it isn't like we could have reigned it in.
My baby had a 5 minute car nap hours ago so cue the fierce whining/crying at the thought of taking an actual nap at naptime. I don't know how DS1 sleeps through it.
