I'm running to Costco after school dropoff for a rotisserie chicken and it's literally all I can think about. Freakin love those things.
I'm going to Costco today too, I'll have to pick one up to try!
My work day consists solely of eating today. Between bagel Friday and coworker's birthday and holiday treats there is no time for work.. Just eat. It's glorious!

Last time we bought one MH was the one who walked over to grab it and when he came back to the cart he was making the confused face. I was like, "what wrong with the chicken?" and he was like, "is this price on here right? This can't actually be this cheap." But yes, sweetie in fact it is. And delicious.
today is my boss's birthday. I just learned that he's actually younger than me. in that we are now the same age. My birthday is in march.
I'm more weirded out by this than I should be. He's got "one year" more experience than I do because I dicked around in Pittsburgh for an extra 6 months after graduation and didn't start being a real grownup until that January. So when you round our experience, he's up on me by a year. But he's 9 months younger.
I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that i'm a for-real grownup. This really just drives it home though...

Is today CEP Costco Day? Because we're going tonight to get stuff we need for Christmas dinner. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! I haven't been to Costco in years and we just got a membership card.
Quick, what are the chances we will actually be able to stick to our list?

No hope whatsoever.
I just bought these little ready to eat quinoa cups with artichoke hearts and hearts of palm when I was there on Tuesday. If you see them, I definitely recommend them.

I fell down the rabbit hole of the recap thread from last year that was posted last night and stayed up waaaaaaay too late. I missed that whole thing last year because I was in the middle of taking my comps.

Yoga pants are in stores right now. You should get some. They hold up REALLY well and are pretty fantastic.
They also have these new quarter zip hoodies with thumb holes and I really really want one.
If you've got any lingering gift needs on your list, they also have some fantastic box sets of books and DVD's. Particularly kids books. I might have just knocked off half my xmas list yesterday during lunch there.

My ransoms are all tech vents.
Why do I need to set up an account to activate a gift card. I don't get it. It's one of those incentive cards, not one you get from the store, but still. It irks me.
Second vent. I'm told I have an account on this one site. Fine however, I forgot my password. I go to retrieve it, and they say I don't have an account. Which one is it.
ETA: Finally talk to someone and despite the bill saying I can book online, I cannot. Said company get it together.

Perhaps I can make the yoga pants Christmas dinner-relevant by wearing them for Christmas dinner?

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Costco membership but I don't know if I'll feel like schlepping out to the 'burbs and fighting crowds on the weekends. Wegmans is bad enough. I'd definitely do it if they could sell booze but MD laws suck.

You can buy booze at the DC Costco. Not that that's actually convenient.
If you every feel you NEED to make a Costco run we can always just make date for my corner of the burbs. We go weekly.
