For Christmas my extended family plays bingo, the first person to bingo get's to pick out a gift, and we continue playing until everyone has bingo-ed (or however you say that). The gifts all must be food gifts in the $20-$25 range. All ages play together, 7-70ish. The gifts may be stolen like in dirty santa. I thought I'd go to Trader Joe's and pick out some yummy treats since no one else lives close to one. My thoughts so far -
Tub of mini chocolate chip cookies PB Cups Holiday JoJo's A trail mix of somekind.
Powerberries Cookie Butter Cups The Hot Chocolate set (its 3 flavors in a small tin) Caramel Tasting set Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels
These aren't very good compared to the ones at Whole Foods. @ruralrabbit1 definitely go to WF if you are interested in these, they'll be about $6 there.
We really have a blast. The kids love that they get to participate in the same game as the adults. We use M&Ms for markers, which always creates more fun.

Oooh, get something savory/salty too. Nuts or some kind of chips/crackers. They have some rosemary/raisin ones (I think that is what they are) that are really good.
I like the idea of adding something savory. The marcona almonds with rosemary are fantastic. Or maybe a stick of soppressata and the Spanish cheese trio. They're small and will be fine without refrigeration until the recipient can get them home. For trail mix, there's a seasonal one this year that looks good and would be a festive addition:
I was at Trader Joe's today and thought of this post. They have so many nice looking holiday treats up near the front of the store... just pick up a little bit of everything Just be sure to include the dark chocolate peanut butter cups because those are the shit.
Thank you for all the suggestions! I went a little crazy and bought tons of things. Someone will get a delicious gift. I tried not to buy one of each for myself.
