I'm trying my best to stay running outside this year, but dang it, I think I need a jacket. I only have long sleeve shirts so far. I cannot for the life of me remember what I used the last two years! I went for a group run last night, and a windproof or -resistant jacket would have come in handy.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Someone here recommended the Brooks Silver Bullet to me and it is great. I've only had to use it a couple times as it hasn't been cold enough yet, but it will probably get daily use in January and February
Thank you! I'm liking the options so far. I should have mentioned that I don't really like windbreaker material. A running buddy had on a Saucony jacket that was soft but said that it's wind-resistant, but I couldn't find one currently being offered.

I don't have a legit rain-worthy running jacket. Instead I have two "wind breaker jackets" - one by Brooks, one by Helly Hansen - and a legit mountain worthy rain jacket by Columbia I use if it's really raining. The Columbia jacket does a surprisingly good job of breathing!
