How are the solids going? What is your little one rating? How much?
I still feel pretty lost on this. We are doing breakfast and dinner, with either yogurt or oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, and then veggie and fruit for dinner. He usually does between 3-4 oz, but I have no idea if that's the right amount or not. I've tried a cucumber stick and he seemed to like gnawing on that so I might need to try more hand held foods.
He is still having issues pooping, but I'm not quite sure what more I can do. We often work prunes and pears into the fruit and I've avoided bananas and rice cereal completely.
He still hasn't gotten the hang of drinking water out of zippy cup, but I keep trying.
DD is eating mostly purées still at almost 9 months. She won't put food in her mouth herself so it's hard to do finger foods with her. We do give her finger type foods and put it in her mouth for her some and also work with her on the action. She loves everything we have given her though and especially loves the non purées!

We've only been doing solids for a few weeks but DD3 eats like a champ. So far, we've tried oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, and peas. She figured things out pretty quickly and seems to like everything she's eaten so far. Sweet potatoes are probably her favorite. I'll move on to fruits in a few more days and then start mixing things up a bit more from there. Right now, she's only getting solids once a day.
I feel like it's going horribly. DD has been having constipation issues since we started and I feel like I have no idea what I am doing.
So far we have tried purees/pouches, yogurt, and oatmeal. We feed her breakfast and dinner. She seems to like everything ok but doesn't usually eat too much of it. I really hate spoon feeding. It's messy, wasteful, and a lot of work for her to eat a Tbsp or so of food. I would like to start more of a BLW approach but H doesn't think that is a good idea. I am slightly confused about BLW as well. I know that she can have pretty much anything as long as it is soft and not too small but I still find it intimidating.
She knows how to drink out of a sippy but only has a few small sips at each meal.
At eight months he definitely prefers purees but that's probably because they are easy and I haven't offered that many new solids. I offer whatever soft foods we are eating and he will nibble some. He's struggling with his pincer grasp so that's holding him back some. We still have to help with Cheerios and puffs.
8.5 months, and he loves purees. At daycare he does oatmeal and fruit for "breakfast" and oatmeal and cereal for "lunch." Occasionally he'll get like pieces of toast for a snack or puffs at home for motor skill practice but he doesn't really like the feel of it in his mouth yet. He also doesn't have teeth.
We've been dealing with constipation too. He was pooping these hard dry poos like maybe twice a week (while doing prunes, water, no rice cereal, etc). We took him to the doc and she put him on Lactulose, which is a mild oral laxative we give twice a day (he hates it), in a pretty low dose. That has got him up to 1-2 solid but not hard poops a day.
It's going great. We are doing BLW and she loves eating. (7.5 mo). She eats a bit of everything we are having. She particularly enjoys meat. We do breakfast and dinner and sometimes lunch. Sometimes she eats a lot, sometimes a little. My only complaint is how much mess she makes.
We're doing good, although I do feel a little lost and not sure where to go from here. DD is into purees, she's had sweet potatoes, peas, bananas, pears, peaches, and some combo pouches.
She's 7.5 months old and has 2 teeth...is she ready for table food? If so, what do I start with? Puffs? shredded cheese? Shredded Chicken? Can she have yogurt yet? Can she have cheerios yet? I'm just afraid that she'll choke.
We started at 6 months and she hated it and cried every time we tried. We've stopped trying for about a week now and will probably wait another one before trying again.

DD wouldn't feed herself really until 10 months. She was happy as a clam to let me put food in her mouth but she wouldn't do it herself.

DD is not a fan. We've tried cereals, yogurt, and a couple of veggies. She wants what we eat, though, lol. And she is fascinated by cups and drinking out of them, but isn't terribly fond of sippy cups. But I figure it's still pretty early.

My DS is 8 months old (yesterday). I don't even give him solids every day, let alone multiple meals. I'm probably doing it wrong. I haven't tried to spoon feed him anything and I basically just put him in the high chair with some strips of sweet potato or carrot when I need some time to myself to prepare dinner. He doesn't do a good job with the sippy either.
C is 6 months. We just started last week. Solids is going okay. Our pediatrician told us to take a break because C is battling a cold. She also had a reaction to either the formula or the cereal we gave her.

I don't see anything wrong with this. Sounds like it is going well!

DS is 8 months and eats table food 2x a day. Feeding him purées was impossible - he kept shoving the bib, and the spoon, and the jar, and everything into his mouth. So I figured he should just shove food into his mouth, lol. He loves big pieces of pears (chilled pears are nice for teething), Cheerios, waffles, refried beans, pasta, etc.

Just to reassure you, D wasn't interested in solids at all until like 9 months, and even then he didn't eat much. And he just starting getting the hang of a sippy cup at 14 months.
DD is almost 6 months. We started at 4 months with purees and a sippy cup. She is on stage 3 foods and drinks about 1/4 of a cup of water. We only feed her lunch. Once she hits 6 months, we will try to start with finger foods. My oldest is almost 12 and she could eat a whole steak dinner at 7 months, no teeth. But she was like an eating fool. Steak, potato and whatever vegetable we were having. We give them food as soon as they show an interest.
DD is 8 months and eats lots of purées. For breakfast a bit of fruit, lunch is a purée and fruit, sometimes yoghurt. If she doesn't eat the yoghurt for lunch, it is a snack. Dinner is a veggie purée, fruit, and little bites of whatever we are eating. She also occasionally gets little biscuits to gnaw on. She is a good eater though. I know other babies the same age who are barely eating anything.
