So mine became pretty apparently after I had William and slowly got a lot better. Now I'm having a lot more issues with it. The baby will push against it and cause a stabbing pain but normally it's just for 2 or so seconds and I can deal with that. Last night he did it and I couldn't get him to move. I was almost in tears it hurt so much. Dh was freaked out and thought I needed to go to the hospital and it was right before we got on the Santa train. Luckily I got him to move after maybe 30 seconds but it was so sharp. Anyone else have this or dealt with it? I was still hurting and nauseated for awhile after but I'm scared it's just going to get worse and worse as he gets bigger since I'm just 24 weeks now.
I had one when I was pregnant with Madelyn. I had to go on medical leave because I couldn't lift very much. I remember going home and crying after going shopping because hurt so bad from walking around and lifting Leia. I had it removed when they took out my gallbladder.
I'm sorry you have to deal with it. It is very painful.
They told me to wait till I was done having kids to get it fixed, but if this keeps up, I won't be able to have it do this again if we have another kid. It's crazy how bad it hurts and so fast at times.

I had a small one and DR from my pregnancy with L. I can tell it's opened back up now and the top of my belly button sticks out a little, does yours pop out? Mine never did that with L. Sometimes it's really uncomfortable. My midwife recommended a support belt, especially the kind with arm straps.
I know I always talk about MuTu here but it's a program that has really helped me. I am more conscious of my posture this time because of it and I think that has reduced my pain. Basically try not to tuck your tailbone or thrust your ribs forward (bring them back). Doing both of those things puts more pressure on your rectus muscles. If mine is hurting I also sit down and pull my transverse abs in (bellybutton to spine) and splint them together for a few min (just take a hand on each side of your bellybutton and push your muscles gently together). This relives some pressure. Don't do any big twists or sit up motions, it will make it worse. Get up from laying by rolling to your side first. Sorry of this doesn't make sense!
I am a little scared of how mine will look and feel after and if I can't fix it with exercises I want to get it fixed by a doctor at some point. I hope you feel better. Mine comes and goes. I hope some of these suggestions can help you.

Thank you! Yes, mine sticks out. It was a lot better until I got pregnant. I had an outie in first tri cause of it. I'll look into the support belts too!
