When did you regulate enough to not be leaking all over the place? DD is 6 weeks and I'm still constantly leaking through my shirt on whatever side she doesn't nurse on first. I do have nursing pads, I'm just finding all the leaking annoying. I don't remember it taking this long last time, but frankly it's all a bit blurry.
I don't remember the timing. If you've got a lot of leakage, you could try Milkies Milk Savers to save that milk. A friend of mine leaks 1oz per feeding! If you're building a stash, it adds up quickly!

Right now DS2 is eight weeks and I'm still leaking. Honestly, I think I leaked for nine months to a year with DS1. I wore nursing pads for nearly a year.
At least 2 months, probably closer to 3, although it became less milk as time went on. And I leaked when she started STTN for a couple weeks when DD was about 6 months old.

Eight months and still have to wear pads. I think a lot of it is because I work full time and don't pump on the same schedule daily. I have tons of spontaneous let downs.

If you are primarily leaking while baby is eating, you can press a flat palm firmly against your breast to stop the flow. Every time I have a letdown it happens on both sides so I always do this on the side not being nursed on and it helps a lot.

Yes, unless she over sleeps in the middle of the night it's usually when she's nursing. I let down hard on both sides. I've just been catching the milk with a towel or pad, but I'll try pressing a bit harder. Thank you!
i was just thinking the other day that i haven't used nursing pads in a few weeks and haven't been leaking randomly. i still leak during let down on one side if he goes a long stretch without eating, so i just start him on that side. for whatever odd reason the other side does not leak even though it produces more over all. bodies are SO WEIRD.

Today is DS' 1st birthday, and I still leak most days. Granted I have an oversupply and he still nurses all the time, so most of the leaking comes when we are out and he goes longer between sessions.
Around 3 months both times is when I felt comfortable leaving the house without any pads. At 6 weeks, I was definitely still a hot mess and leaking all over the place.
DS is 6 months old now and I cannot remember the last time I wore a nursing pad.

Ace is 5 months and I still leak. When I nurse him alone, I usually just tuck in a small cloth on the other side. I don't leak a ton, but enough that without the cloth my shirt would be wet. I usually only have random letdowns in the morning when I forget to put in nursing pads.

I leak all the time too and A just turned 6 weeks. I feel like I leaked with L on the side I wasn't feeding on (up to an oz at a time (I had a milk saver thing with her)) for the duration of bf'ing. Random let downs eventually stopped though. They haven't stopped with A yet.
