Dumb question -- I'm new to the iPhone world and just downloaded a white noise app because we are leaving today to spend Christmas at my mom's. We're flying so I'm trying to travel as light as possible with an 11 mo old. But if I were to use the app , it would mean I'd have to leave my phone with DS all night , right? I don't really want to do that. I'd rather bring his own noise machine but I'm just wondering if im missing something here.
I have a spotify subscription ($10/month, gets you music on your phone and no ads) and a playlist of nature white noise songs. Be sure to download the playlist for offline playback -- you don't want a flaky internet connection ruining sleep!

Yeah I use my phone app on the go but at night use it on the ipad even though she is right next to me in rock n play. I end up using my phone for the flashlight app for MOTN feedings.

We use simply noise, once you have the app you don't need the Internet.
