I bake bread quite often, but could use some of your tricks for muffins. Never fail, especially with mini muffins, I get batter all over the pan as I'm filling the cups. Is there a bowl, dispenser, or spatula that you can suggest to make filling the muffin tin easier? I use a bowl with a notch/spout, and a silicone spatula. Should I be spooning it in?
I do so much better with kneaded dough, than I do with sticky batter! I've been baking pumpkin and blueberry muffins for DS, recently, so I can add things like flax to add some hidden nutrients.
Thick muffin batter - use a 1/4 cup ice cream scoop (Good Grips makes one that has a releasing mechanism) for normal muffin sizes, for mini muffins use the 1 inch scoop Thin batter - use a measuring cup with a spout and wipe after each pour.

I use a disher (kind of like an ice cream scoop with a releasing mechanism, but smaller). I can't remember what size it is. I originally bought it for cookie dough, but have found that it comes in handy for this as well.
