Note to self: When blowing out a candle, make sure to use just enough breath to extinguish the flame, and not so much that hot melted wax gets everywhere.
It got all over my face (UGH), my nice shirt, my glasses, etc...

My little boy did this and the wax got over my new sideboard, curtains, pictures on the wall, wall, etc. and I can't get it off. I tried using a credit card on the furniture and it just scratched it
Next time, place your index finger in front of your lips as if you were a librarian shushing a patron and proceed blowing out the candle as normal. It helps distribute the wind force around the flame instead of directly into it.

Use a hairdryer and re-melt it. It'll easily wipe up after that. Not that I have any experience with that or anything. Although I'm not sure about the curtains.

My mom did that when I was younger, and we did the blowdryer thing to melt it and wipe it up. I've splashed it around too but it didn't get me. Hope you're okay.
