2014 was an insane year for us. So many of my goals are things I thought we'd do this year, but since the move, we are back at square one. - buy lots and built a freaking dwelling - build a shop/ office for me and make a business plan. Grow my business. -connect more with DH -get a set schedule as a family and get more organized
But with all the horrible things that happened in our families his past year, I'll now add. -spend time with family. Ask questions. Listen. Enjoy them. Lighten the f up.

Personal: Lead by example when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. I talk with patients all day about making better choices about their health and yet I don't get 4-5 servings of fruits/veggies or get at least 150 minutes of exercise per week. This coincides with wanting to be more active/working out and losing weight. Find a hobby for myself and also something that H and I can do together. Be conscious of spending quality time with both DH and DS. I'd love to start doing more craft projects or visit museums/kid specific places with DS now that he's a little older. Declutter
Professional: Find a prn inpatient job. Explore options for my long term career plan.
Financial: Create a budget. Save more. Shop less and buy what we need, not because something is a good deal.
read a book about hospice/palliative care to hopefully learn how to better talk to and connect with my patients.
I've read excerpts from the book, "Mastering Communication with Seriously Ill Patients: Balancing Honesty with Empathy and Hope". I used to work on a surg/onc floor and found what I read helpful when talking with patients and their families. My H is a H/PC dr and recommended it.

Personal -lose that last 5 pounds -keep running, but step it up a little. I'd like to get my weekly mileage back up to 15-20 miles per week -try to be more positive. Stop being such a hater and a naysayer.
Professional -commit more to being involved in my field/job -attend a conference
Financial -save more for a second car or possible investment property down the line -actually investigate whether or not an investment property might be feasible and how to go about it
1. Graduate (Dec) 2. Get accepted to grad school (Oct/Nov) 3. Lose the "living with my parents" weight gained (ASAP) 4. Increase exercise (ASAP) 5. Complete all renovations as planned (By summer) 6. Replenish savings (Ongoing)
- actually use the gym I belong to - either H get a promotion/new job - me get a job if ^ doesn't happen - add money to savings - actually turn our den into a den and not storage - go to Disney!
Personal: -Track calories -Workout a minimum of 3x per week -Lose the 15 lbs I've been hanging onto since pregnancy -Purge my shoe collection
Professional -Apply for MSW program
Financial -Pay off car loan early -Increase contributions to the girls' college savings -Save enough to pay cash for grad school tuition -Stop buying so much stuff for the girls.
Personal -have a healthy baby in June -breastfeed said baby for 12+ weeks -eat more fruits and vegetables, and less sugar -continue working out 3-4x per week until I deliver this baby -restart working out at least 1x per week 4 weeks after having the baby
Professional -get promoted officially to a manager position -keep doing a good job
Financial -keep investing money monthly -continue 529 contributions for DD -find room in the budget for 529 savings for DC2
-For the first time in like ever follow a budget so we can swing 2 in daycare without worry
-Replenish some savings we've spent with 2014 Dependent Care FSA and tax return funds; then try reaaaally hard not to dip into savings too much over the course of the year
-Be better about meal planning; come up with more "quick and easy" meals to add to our repetoire
-Money permitting, tackle a few additional home projects
