We haven't been able to put any out. Callie doesn't understand that they aren't for her, and I wasn't up for the daily fight. Hopefully next year I will be able too.
I don't put them out until time to open! Today I'll put a few out for his best friend and they will open later! I have put advent books out and he only opened one extra one so far- but he honestly forgot bc be opened yesterdays before nap and then again after dinner
They are out. Ada knows she can open them on Christmas so she asks every morning if it's Christmas lol. So far she hasn't gotten mad that it's not Christmas yet.
Yes - the Christmas Eve gifts ( new pjs for everyone plus the kids open the gifts from each other), plus the gifts family have mailed are under the tree . Henry likes to shake and guess . Elliot basically ignores the tree.

We've had presents under our tree for a few weeks now and he's doing well. He knows that he isn't allowed to touch them or Santa will take them all back. He also notices when new presents are added. Such a ham.
Yup. He's only gone after them once. He brought me a package and said "let's open it mommy!" I just told him that we open on Christmas and he's been fine. We made a paper chain to count down and the visual is helping him understand that when we throw out the last link it's time to open.
Yes, all the ones from "us". They've done great at it! Jameson tries to get me to tell him what is in them, but they haven't tried to open them. The "Santa" gifts will be unwrapped and out on Christmas morning, which will be the bike, scooter, bilibos, banks and some dress up clothes.

So far, my kids have almost toppled the Christmas tree and opened kdrake8's presents she had wrapped and up on a table, lol, our track record is not good so far.
No. I wanted to put them all out, the gifts for other people, but I decided against it. My mom always put them out after we went to bed and my brother loved it. He loved the magic of Christmas morning. I remember he was about 23 or so and my mom wanted us to help put out all the gifts before we went to bed. He hadn't believed in Santa for YEARS but refused to help. He literally hid in his room while we did it and went to sleep! He still loved the magic of going into the living room with tons of wrapped boxes every where. I want that for Addison. Even though I love the look of presents under the tree all season long, I want that magic for her. So, no presents under the tree until Christmas Eve when everyone is in bed.
Yes - all the ones for family are out. He doesn't bother them. I haven't wrapped his yet. Whoops. They will go under once their wrapped since he has no interest. We won't be able to do this next year.
We have some out, she has asked to open one so far but I told her she has to wait until Christmas. We'll see how it goes. My mom also used to save pretty much everything to put out after we went to sleep on Christmas eve and I always loved waking up and seeing the tree had exploded overnight lol
We have the ones I wrapped for family but none of Lily's. I want those to be a big surprise on Christmas morning. I had her help me wrap the other ones (hold the tape, put bows on) and put them by the tree and it helped her understand they aren't for her.
This is weird because H just said to me, not even 5 minutes ago, "There are no presents under our tree. Isn't that kind of sad?" I might wrap some and put them under there tonight after B goes to bed if I have enough motivation.

We've had them under the tree for about a week. C2 has done pretty well up until yesterday when she lined three up and jumped on them like they were mini trampolines. Lol Otherwise she's done fine!
