Lalalala I caaaaan't hear youuuu!
But really, he is a good kid, but he has been so sassy lately. Yesterday he counted to 3 then gave me a time out, he mocks me, yells at me to turn music down quickly, and just now he told me to calm down when I told him to please not touch the ornaments.
This is not good because Lincoln is exactly like that NOW.
Hopefully this means he's getting it out of his system and will be an angel at three.
Jackson is absolutely headed towards the terrible threes. He has his sweet moments, but boy, the attitude and not listening thing is going to be the death of me. Today DH said he had a huge meltdown in Target. So bad that an employee felt the need to roll her eyes and cover her ears. Which pisses me off, but I wasn't there to do anything about it.

I'm hoping. His attitude is killlling me.
I can't believe that employee acted so stupid! I've been known to tell people if they think they can do better, they can try if they give us looks.

That's exactly what I told DH he should have said! He gets flustered though when J acts out. I would have said something to her AND her manager.
3 suuuuuuuuuucked. 4 has been slightly better in some aspects, but when it's bad, it is BAD BAD BAD BAD. They get easier to reason with, but harder to distract.
You never know! Henry was a pretty bad 2 but he was good at 3 and 4 has been one of my favorite ages ever with him.
Elliot has been a nightmare 2 year old so I'm hoping he improves at 3. He started epic tantrums REALLY early, so maybe the last 9 months he has been getting them out of his system? Please??

Yes. They are so friggen TENACIOUS, they just won't let things go. For me, honestly, it's the constant talking at age 4 and 5. Some days I want to yell STFU!! it's just chatter chatter chatter all day long.
My DS1 was hell at 3. DS2 seems to have started earlier, at 2. Hope he gets over it faster.?!!?

G was delightful from 1.5-2.5. He's still not awful but I am seeing more attitude and defiance. Maybe we'll have a rough patch from 2.5-3.5 and then a turnaround?
Whatever. My plan for these years is to enjoy the cute moments and find an internal happy place for the others. And drink.
Hopefully this means he's getting it out of his system and will be an angel at three.

I had an old lady behind me in michaels commenting on her not listening and how stubborn she is. Not helping lady!

I had blocked that out from when J was that age, but it's started flooding back the last few weeks. The attitude is ridiculous. Yesterday, he came out of the playroom, sighed and rolled his eyes like a teenage girl, and said "Mom, Jack's KILLING me. He's just keep telling me no". He also demands things instead of asking and straight up ignores me when I try to talk to him. I want to skip three.
