Anyone have a reliable recipe? Pretty please? I want to try this tonight so I can sleep in tomorrow I usually make the apple cinnamon recipe from Annie's Eats but I want an extra hour of sleep!

I have no crockpot and therefore no recipe. I do overnight oats though, and they're pretty foolproof so far. 1/2 c oatmeal (not instant), 1 c liquid (I've done coconut milk, almond milk, regular milk and sometimes half milk/half Greek yogurt), fruit of choice. Add some honey if your fruit isn't super sweet or if you're using Greek yogurt, and I add 1-2 Tbs chia seeds too. Not sure if them being cold would be a problem, but you could always microwave for a minute. I'm sure that you could use apples as your fruit, add some cinnamon, and use maple syrup instead of honey if you want that kind of flavor.

I know I'm late chiming in here, but I do something similar to the Alton Brown crockpot recipe and it's pretty good (although my crockpot always seems to burn the edges a bit).
*1 cup steel cut oats *1 cup dried fruit (you can do more, but I thought more was too sweet) *4 cups water *1/2 cup dairy product (anything from milk to half and half is fine)
