So darn cute fusion. Your whole family is so photogenic.
We went to Swiss Chalet and had Festive Specials for dinner. So good. Owen had 6 French fries and 4 forkfuls of rice. Nice dinner kid. Oh, and 2 packets of Premium Plus crackers.

Alexander's sleep has gone to shit so I'm sort of sleep training him, I bought a white noise machine today and instead of going to sleep while nursing he keeps popping off to look for the noise, maybe almost 8 months is too late to start a white noise machine?
I feel like I may be coming down with a cold, just in time for Christmas, yippee!
raynes I'm so jealous of your meal, I love Swiss chalet and could eat the dipping sauce with a spoon!
Just got home from taking L on the Polar Express train ride - he LOVED it - cried when he had to get off and asked to go again, but he slept the 2hr car ride home and is now running around the house like a crazy man and I'm exhausted, this night is NOT going to go well

This is one for the first things we are doing when we get to town. Hello swiss chalet.

Did you go to the one in akron? We are going to do that next year. I've heard it's awesome! Hope he goes to sleep soon for you!
I love my family, but sometimes they make me crazy. Apparently Emerson was the topic of conversation at breakfast today with my parents, aunt, and cousins.
She puts everything in her mouth lately. I blame it partially on her molars, but I have talked to her OT and speech therapists about it. I guess my family has diagnosed Emerson with Pica.... Yeah, that's not her issue. She's 2 and has a TBI. Geez.

Getting tickets to that one is so hard! It is incredible though.

I am only home for bed time 2 nights a week. Tuesday nights DH is at work so it's just me and Pey at bedtime. But Sunday nights DH and I are both home for bedtime. We go in there together for her bath, books, etc. When I try to help with stuff she's constantly telling me "only daddy brush my teeth." "No daddy do my lotion!" "No daddy read books!" She still caves and asks to nurse. But when she finishes, she legit says "mama go away, cuddle time with daddy now!" I think it is so sweet they have their routine, but damn it hurts when she tells me to go away.

Dh is such a dork. He has worked very hard and completely redid our master bathroom. It took almost two years because he did it all himself and he had to fit it in between running his business, taking care of the girls and all the other miscellaneous life things that get in the way.
Well, we finally have a fully functional bathroom again! He just finished installing the tub. It is a whirlpool tub even!
He just went to take a bath to try it out to make sure it worked properly and would support the weight and all the other stuff. He kept picturing the movie money pit in his head. He is not a bath person. He felt so weird doing it, he actually kept his boxers on because he wasn't comfortable going in naked. I laughed pretty hard! He only stayed in for about 2 minutes as well.
On a not so funny note, we had our first attempted stealing this morning. DD1 tried to sneak some candy out of the gas station when she went in with DH. DH caught her before they left the store and he made her go and put it back and then apologize to the cashier. She was pretty upset/scared when she got home so hopefully that is the last time she does that. I know I did something like that when I was little and my mom did something similar. I never tried it again.
