Not a full list obviously, but I was just thinking I need to be more stylish. After the baby I want to step up my game and be cute, not frumpy. More accessories, maybe make up, something...
This is what I posted on MM: --Create and actually stick to a budget. --Get rid of CC debt once and for all. --Build e-fund back to three months (at about one now). --Get through the first few months of parenthood without killing each other (I am not pleasant when I'm sleep-deprived). --Be more social.
1. Do the whole30 again, and this time come up with a better plan for maintaining it. 2. Lose a decent amount of weight OR get pregnant... Obviously I prefer to get pregnant but that is somewhat out of my control. Losing weight is in my control though! 3. Add a significant amount to savings 4. Stick to a cleaning schedule 5. Go through garage and closets and get everything organized 6. Post on GBCN more often!!
2. Get over fear of being inverted and do a handstand push-up
3. Keep up with mailing birthday cards to close friends and family. That was a resolution last year and I kept up with it for the most part, only missing a few.
wanderingenough- I'm keeping mine to things I can control as well.
1. Pay off all credit cards 2. Pay off 60% of our line of credit 3. Go camping more then this year 4. Work out 4-5 days a week 5. Run a 10k under 1 hr 10 mins (a 21 min PR) 6. Get at least 6 home renos done off of our master list. (Some are $$$$ and some are $)
There is some inside and outside stuff that needs to be done; -roof -building a pantry in our kitchen -kitchen floors -bathroom floors -build a shed for our garbage/recycling/yard waste bins -baseboards need to be put up -put crush down on the side of the house (second driveway) -kitchen counters (new) -stain kitchen cabinets
1. Estate planning (a carry over from 2013 and 2014...helloooo slacker) 2. Put together a resume and go on at least one interview 3. Get back in fabulous shape in time for my BFF's wedding (she just got engaged on Xmas!!!) 4. Get finances organized - move my brokerage account, start a joint account w/ H, start a UGMA for baby. 5. Fix the trim piece in the kitchen that has been loose since we did the reno two years ago...
I've come up with a few so far- and I'm also trying to only put down things within my control: 1) Lose at least 40 pounds 2) Pay off two credit cards 3) Set a monthly budget and stick to it 4) Buy a new car

1. Weigh XXX lbs by Dec 31 (if not pregnant)(Need to lose ~55 lbs)
2. Initiate sex once a week
3. Read 10 books
4. Call a friend once a month
5. Visit 2 new baseball stadiums
6. Go to the gym 4x/week
7. Obtain steady employment at an income level we are both comfortable with
8. Fit into black dress for friendβs wedding in April
We also do financial goals but we haven't set them yet. I am assuming they will include get savings to $X, deposit $X into each Roth, and get student loans below $X, I just don't know what X is yet. It's really hard to make financial goals not knowing what my income situation is going to be.
1. Finish house repairs, and dejunk/organize so we can list house to sell. 2. Walk dog at least 300 days of the year (allows for illness, etc. but hoping to try to do at least a short walk with him every day.) 3. Fit comfortably in a size 10 (or smaller) by December if not knocked up. 4. Graduate with my Masters! 5. Actually follow (and track) the budget we made this year.
I'm adding running 120 miles in the first 6 months. It's not a huge goal, 20 miles a month, but I figure if I can do that I will up my goal for the last 6 months of the year.
