Well, I finished what I could. ILs are traveling somewhere, and they seem to be in a passive aggressive fight with H. We have no idea why, but they left town without telling us, then won't return his calls. And last night, they said they would call after they talking to BIL at 8:15. 11pm they email saying "please call now." H gets up at 4:30 am.
Two questions: 1) if amazon prime lets me down, will an 11 and 14 year old be cool with it? 2) Are you done yet?

1. Call amazon right now and raise hell about stuff not potentially arriving in time. They'll try to do something for you. There seems to be a few loopholes w/Prime that i've found (like, the item doesn't have to be in stock? How is that even right? lol)
2. Not done yet, I think I need a gift for DH's granny yet and a small g.c. for my dad (got the rest of his stuff).
Well, to update this, the answer to #1 is no (11) and yes (14). Discovered bc 14 posted on FB about how 11 is whining about "worst christmas ever" bc his gifts were late and she got 2 while he got 1. From us. She seems to get that her two added up to the same price as his one, but I guess that didn't work for him. So we suck.
OTOH, I don't think he would recognize us if we walked down the street. We haven't seen them in 7 years. Other side of country, military movers, and H is not close to his family at all. Oh well.
I went through something similar with the niece and nephew, both under 5. The younger one is too young for gifts, but I made sure the older one had the same number of or more gifts than the younger one. They got them when I visited a few days after Christmas, so it was an unexpected bonus instead of an expectation.
As for item #2, nope, I'm not done shopping. We never got anything for DH's bro and wife (though we're not sure if they got us anything). I think we should also get DH's grandmother some flowers.
