No but I will definitely check it out!
Today is a scrap paper wreath made from a paper plate and square paper scraps. It's cute
Felt, buttons, glue and ribbon. I put some tacky glue in a lite cup and gave J a q tip. He dipped the q tip in the glue and put it on the felt. I had to help get enough glue and keep it in one spot. Then he placed the buttons. I found the buttons in the clearance aisle of michaels but any buttons will do.
I had to help A, but if I put the glue on the tree he was great at putting the buttons on.
I made a felt Christmas tree with the boys. Not the prettiest, but they had fun.
Love it! My green get should arrive tomorrow so this is our Thursday Friday project.
Make sure you rub the felt with something rough (I used a dry scrubbing sponge) so the ornaments stick. Otherwise they just fall off. Also, if you decorate the ornaments, you'll probably have to put a thing of Velcro or something on the back or it'll be too heavy to stick!
Evan made Christmas trees with his hand prints. Once his hand prints dried, I used artgal84 's idea of q tips dipped in paint to let him decorate the tree. Love love love using q-tips. Easy to just toss everything at the end. I painted a little stump on the bottom. Attachment Deleted Attachment Deleted Attachment Deleted
We just made cinnamon ornaments. They're in the oven, so I'll PIP when they're done. I used this recipe www.asparkleofgenius.com/2012/12/cinnamon-ornaments-garland-christmas-glittered.html BUT: I used 1.5 cups cinnamon, sprinkled cinnamon on the wax paper so it wouldn't stick, and changed the wax paper every time I rolled. It was lots of fun and they smell yummy
