It was quite long and I started to get annoyed with the length of it and began thinking, please, please don't start singing again! We did enjoy it though (even our 14 year old son). Beautiful message for a Christmas day story.
Saw it with H and 2 kids. We all thought it was too long. The kids hated it and were fidgeting. Some of the underlying dialogue was too adult for the kids.

So DH brought DD who recently turned 6 to see Malifacent when it came out and she loved it...is this one too much (too long! Over her head? Not comparable?)?

I was comparing them too but apparently they are not!
I didn't know it was a musical until yesterday. SDs wanted to see it so I went. I've never liked musicals on film, love going to see them live though so I was kind of dreading it.
We just got home. Loved it. I thought it was fabulous. SDs didn't like it as much and complained about thr length. They are 12 and 13.
