I feel like "ox blood" was everywhere this past year and this is too similar. When I hear the word Marsala all I think of is chicken. I didn't know it was a color.

Ditto. I do like oxblood or whatever other names that color tone is called. I always picture it more for fall winter though so it'll be interesting to see how designers incorporate it into spring and summer. I do love the color so I'm not super mad about it. Lol the name is "meh" though.
Didn't someone in her camp try to claim she's not had fillers and it's just how she does her makeup and that those lips are an optical illusion? Um, NO.

I knew about it before Pantone! Lol! It's the color of the tile in our guest bath with the heated floors, spa shower, and claw foot tub. I've already got someone working on a reclaimed tub tray for my wine and e-reader. I will totally snooze in that room. The house contract happened in October before the release. I guess I can read their minds.
I actually love the color in theory, but I'm not sure it works on my face as anything other than blush. I agree that Marsala = chicken, LOL.
I am so done with Kylie Jenner. I know nothing of her personally but the mere presence of her face all over the Internet has me done. If one more MUA does a Kylie Jenner tutorial...
I love deep reds, burgundies, plums, and other wines. But this Marsala seems to have a lot of muted browns to it that make it feel dated to me - I would like it better if it were more saturated in color. That said- I agree that I tend to only think of these colors for cooler months.
I actually love the color. It's kind of a dusty cranberry and feels very comforting and cozy to me for some reason. One of my wedding colors was cranberry, so maybe I am just partial to it, lol.
