We need some but I don't want to spend a fortune. I really am not a huge fan of vistaprint so I'm looking for other alternatives. I've thought about just getting a stamp instead of labels, not sure.
Also, second stupid question but what do your address labels say?
I know I could be MM and write it out but honestly I'm lazy and I think it looks nicer having either a label or stamp. We used to get free labels all the time and now we don't. We ran out of those which is why I badly need to get new ones or get a stamp! Sounds like a stamp is easy, convenient and looks nice so I think I'll go that route.
Also, I never thought of putting 'The Smith Family' on there but seeing as we have a little one on the way I might as well start using that. I'll check out etsy and see what I can find.
oh and the stamp is AWESOME for christmas cards, saves so much time can't wait to use it for newborn announcements. I have horrible HORRIBLE handwriting so writing out the return address looks awful
It's what a 6th grade girl would create if told she had the opportunity to make a notebook for her oh-so-complicated schedule.
I just went to her website to see what these things can do that my Filofax can't. It is worse than I thought. Inspirational quotes throughout, a folder that is called "keep it together" to put receipts and such in, "let's get together" cards, and the option to buy photo stickers that you can use to mark events with the subject of the photos. I am amazed that these are made by a grown up for grown ups.
for most things I use the free charity ones and they are just H's name. For holiday cards and "nice" mail we have a letterpress thing that presses the address onto the back flap. I bought it when our wedding invites went out way back when. It's LASTNAME address address

I have more address labels than I'll ever use, that charities keep sending me. Particularly one of the local humane societies.
I also have a stamp. It's not amazingly cute, but it works. It's from Vistaprint. There are cuter options these days; I've had it for a few years. It says:
Calvin & Susie Derkins 123 Watterson St. Town, ST 12345
