I've had what I originally thought (and still hope!) was a stomach bug for the past 3 days. I feel like absolute crap. Today, while driving home, I thought to myself. "Hmmm, this is exactly how I felt right before I tested positive with L" *cue panic!*
We use condoms but there was one day last cycle when we were out so we went without. It was only like 3 or so days after my period had ended so I thought we were pretty safe. I haven't been keeping great track, but it would've been like CD 8 or 9 so unless I ovulated way early or H's sperm held on an extra long time, we should be okay but this feeling in my stomach is freaking me out.
Off to BRU to get DD a Nosefrida for grandma's house.
Get well child! She's spent the majority of the last 1.5 months being sick. We are going to take her in for a weight check soon, I swear she hasn't gained anything.

I'm speed watching Sunday's Golden Globe telecast, since I was busy getting drunk at a party with open bar when it actually aired. Turns out I don't know any of these movies or shows. And holy shit to the Bill Cosby jokes in the monologue.

I've only seen H like 5 times for max 3 days at a time in the last 8 months! It was then or wait til the next visit. We actually had a conversation about our odds before going for it and I really thought we were pretty "safe".
Is Moby worth it and easy to use? I bought one in case I wanted to wear one baby and I tried to put it on and felt dumb. It seemed loose. I'm debating returning it.

I tried it a few times and didn't like it. Wrapping 10 yards of fabric around yourself while trying to soothe a crying baby is an exercise in futility. I sold it on eBay.

DS2 doesn't latch right (boob or bottle) and we have been working so hard to get him to take bottles. I was just celebrating because I got him to take a record 2.5 oz...then I went and pumped 8 oz. WTF. I hope that's not how much he would have taken from me.
I feel like a baby, but I am so tired of being pregnant. My back hurts so much I can hardly move. The dippy OB I saw today was entirely unhelpful and suggested a heating pad. I have a collapsed disc in my back, lady, and it feels like I'm laying on a softball in addition to everything else that hurts.
And I'm having contractions and they hurt. They're irregular, so I'm 95% sure they're just Braxton Hicks, but I feel like I did at 36 or 38 weeks last time, not 29. I am just DONE.
DS2 (4yo) had his kindergarten screening today. He was working with the screening lady and, at one point, turned around and whispered (loudly) to me, "I'm really good at this stuff."
DS1 will be 7 in a couple of weeks. He is still in a 5-point harness in my van. He is in a booster seat in our other vehicle because it is the only way to fit all 3 kids in and we never really drive that vehicle out of our town. I keep thinking about switching him to a booster in the van because it is so nice to not have to buckle him in, but he falls asleep on all car trips over 30 minutes and a booster just doesn't hold him upright safely. Tonight we had to drive 5 miles away (at 6:30pm) for something and had to use our other vehicle. He fell asleep about a mile from home. By the time we got home his face was fully behind the shoulder strap. Doh! Guess he'll stay in a 5-point harness in the van for a while longer.

I hated it at first and was about tk gove up. Then I watched a few youtube videos, practiced a bit and found it easy. I got the hang of it and DD really liked it. It was a sad day when she outgrew it.
Here's a tip- if you're going to wear it in public just wrap and get it all ready on you at home, drive to the store, then put LO in and tighten it. Easier than trying to do it in the Target parking lot.
I'm watching Rehab Attic and I'm like shit, she's a single mom and look wants her gets done. There's 2 of us and we can barely keep our house clean, let alone get some projects done (hello backsplash in the master bath we still haven't done in 4 years).

I am watching it and wishing my legs looked that good in shorts, LOL.
(And also, ditto what you said.) H always complains that she doesn't know what she's doing and must have other people working behind the scenes.
Also, why does she have a dog at a title company and why would she be getting her own forms? That's not how that works.

Agree. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'd try an Ergo or similar.
