Looks like everyone had a really productive day yesterday! I got caught up with grown up life and our fridge is no longer barren. Super jealous of the Target and Costco runs that everyone made.
I'm working today to hopefully get a head and prep for a busy week at work next week.
And, I have a FWP, I just realized this morning that I have 35 vacation days I need to take this year. And that doesn't include all of the government holidays. I'm going to need to figure out when to take all of this time because it's all use it or lose it. :?
I'm happy the game is on at a reasonable time this week. Go Hawks!
Productive Saturday indeed. Allow me to introduce the newest members of the family, Kate and Kate jr. I neeeeed a passport-sized clutch for the cruise, right?
I need to head to the gym this morning, clean up the house, watch the hawks kill the packers, then H has a basketball game tonight. I'm cranky that I couldn't sleep in more.

I'll follow mkate and introduce the newest member of our family. I bought 4 raffle tickets last night that were only $5 a piece. Proceeds were going to Buddy's tour driver for medical bills for cancer.

I have a friend in town from Minnesota. Some other good friends are going to the game so we're going to drive down with them at 10am to tailgate. We know someone who tailgates out of the back of a retrofitted ambulance so we're going to hang out there.
Then we'll either work or way home our to a bar to watch the game.
Yesterday we played tourist - went to the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, etc. From the Space Needle we saw the Packers practicing at Memorial Stadium!
mkate710 - beautiful! and yes, you will want a clutch or something small for the cruise. when I'm in ports, I like a crossbody, but just around the ship, I either take a small wristlet or make H hold my seapeass card
Oh my gosh you guys, I'm so excited! As soon as I landed yesterday I had a tile guy come to give us a quote on tiling the rest of the condo. It was a LOT more than we were anticipating... I had the money set aside, but I didn't want to pay that much. I managed to negotiate him down a whole dollar a sq foot and so today, I'm spending the entire day removing the carpet and tile that is currently there. Please pray for me that it goes smoothly because I don't want to have to pay extra for him to do it. Tile install starts Tuesday and he said he should be able to get it done in 4 days... weee!
It's marathon day here in Phoenix (Rock and Roll) and our condo is pretty much right on the path of the half marathon (and the full goes by about .5 miles away) so I'm blocked in my place until about 3, so hopefully I make good progress.
I had a terrible date last night. Like so bad, it makes a funny story. Then another guy asked for my number as I was leaving, alone from a super awkward situation.
Today is all about getting back to the Super Bowl. So excited. SEA-HAWKS!
I went out this morning and got doughnuts, went to the bread store, got coffee and returned a red box movie. Now i'm home and just relaxing. Probably going to tune into the game for parts since watching all of it is a little nerve wracking and H would complain lol
I also gave J her first doughnuts (just little doughnut holes) I think she is addicted now. She kept signing for more.

We just interviewed a dog-sitter for Presidents Day weekend since we'll be going to California for the first time since C was born. Now we're watching football. Go Packers ;P
larzhope did you go down by yourself this weekend?
I am just getting up. Nothing really productive today. Probably watch a shit ton of pregame stuff and find some bread or something to make for fun.
I did, my H doesn't have as much flexibility to work remotely, so I'm working all week,he will fly in late Wednesday night, we'll be work remotely Thursday, then I think we will take Friday off.
