I feel like a terrible seattleite because I slept through the entire second half of yesterday's game and the recaps Im reading just aren't doing the game justice. (or at least if Facebook is any indication then the recaps aren't as exciting)
We had a blast. The first 57:00 of the game weren't really worth the price of admission except in bits and pieces. The last three however...worth every penny. HA to the people around us who left at the 5:00 mark because "this sucks!" Serves you right, suckers!
I'm tired because we were up til 11 last night because the people upstairs are rude jackasses. They are retaliating against noise complaints because they let their children stomp around their apt after 10 pm

I couldn't fall back asleep after H left for work so I just got up and started working. I'll have almost 3.5 hours in before our main offices gets to work. I'm catching up on lots of small odds and ends I put off last week while taking care of Sienna.
Not a lot else going on today. Hoping H can sneak out early or at least on time and get home at a decent hour since he said with the holiday today the highways were empty.
I still can't even believe what happened yesterday. I love our team so much!
H and I both have the day off. I love his new company, he has never had this day off before and I always do. We're going skiing! Supposedly there's some powder up there. Unfortunately, I left my powder pants in the dryer and realized it halfway up, so I will be getting new ski pants when we get there. But not before the entire HIMYM episode where Marshall forgot his pants is quoted on the drive up. To be fair, I walked right into this.
Sounds like fun mkate710. I am going to take the doggies for a run/walk, do weights at home and spend the rest of the day as a lady of leisure. I.E. lunch and shopping with a gfriend. So glad I took the day off. Its so silly. i get the holiday benefit, but if im scheduled to work i have to request the day off.
While 75% of the city was glued to their tvs, I went glass blowing with my bestie (her bday gift to me). It was a lot of fun! If only it weren't such an expensive hobby, I think I would want to really get in to it.
Part of me feels a little badly, but H and I are now sleeping in separate rooms during the work week. We tried last week and it helped SO MUCH with my quality of sleep! I didn't sleep fabulously last night but know I wouldn't remotely feel rested if he had shared the bed with me last night. This confirms what I've been half-suggesting: that we need to save up and replace our CA King with 2 queens and make our bedroom like a hotel room I sleep best with being by myself in a room (damn light sleeper, even with ear plugs!) but separate beds in the same room is a nice compromise.
working today.... and trying to squeeze in some carpet removal on lunch.
Tile demo is no joke ya'll. I worked for at least 8 hrs yesterday and still had to call in the pros today to finish up. I feel like I got run over by a truck.

Don't feel badly. J and I have slept in separate rooms for a bit now. It's not all the time but it seriously has helped us. He does not want to wear his cpap and I cannot sleep with his snoring. It's helped us immensely. We are both getting better night sleep.
My doctor sent my test results this morning. Everything is down! Yay! My a1c is almost at "normal" range. Well, normal for a diabetic. Not bad for 3 months. I know once I get full on into the working out it will go down even further.

H and I are both off today too, although H had to request the day off. He still has to work from home some, but it's better than nothing. Daycare is open so we still sent bkb to school. I feel bad but not too bad. I know she's having fun and I get Thursday home with her this week. I went to crossfit this morning and H and I are headed to a movie in a little bit. Birdman, I hope it's good. I wish I had more time to see all the Oscar movies.
Sleeping by myself is probably my most favorite part of being single! I don't sleep well anymore with anyone else in the bed. Though, YG just bought a new king sized bed, so that might help.
Great weekend. It was pretty low key, but so nice. Spent time with my girlfriends, saw American Sniper with D, watched the awesome game, and knitted.
Tonight I have a first date. It's been rescheduled twice, so hopefully the third times the charm.
H has the day off and we went to Costco it was a glorious time, although much busier than I expected it to be. But there were tons of sample carts out. I also got a chicken caesar salad from their concession stand and for 3.99 it was good sized and pretty good. I am looking forward to getting them more often when we go since when H goes he always gets lunch or something so now I have something I can get as well.
Besides that we are just hanging out enjoying the last of our long weekend.
