Will I look ridiculous in these boots?

I want the Minnetonka Three Layer Fringe boots like the ones in the picture below.  My husband thinks they are absolutely ridiculous looking and he never really comments on my fashion choices.  lol.  Should I pass on this one?

Yeah, my niece has short ones and they look adorable on her. My sister also has them, not so cute.

Yes, DD has a pair and they look cute on her. I wanted something a little funky for family pics. I'd never wear them.

I have a friend that rocks the hell out of those boots. She's a skinny little thing with great style so that might be part of it but she wears them with leggings or jeggings and they look so cute on her. I might not be able to pull them off as well as she does but it can be done

I'm in the minority. I've always liked those boots (like for the last 15 years) and they are more in style right now than before. I would rock them if I felt like the look worked on me. I could see myself wearing them with my leggings and my UO cardi, similar to the pic above.
