I'm on my way to spin before I make the drive up to SF. I conveniently "forgot my eyeliner" so that I do have a reason to stop at target on my way out of town for funsies
I'm so excited for all the race reports later this weekend! Have fun today at with whatever you do, whether it's a regular Saturday, running today, or prepping for a race tomorrow
Morning! I've been up for a while now. I just got back inside from shoveling snow. DH is outside plowing the driveway. Going to make some brunch in a few then hop on the treadmill to get my c25k workout in.

I've been up since about 7. I went to the gym and did some errands. And shoveled the snow we have off the driveway. Doing laundry now and have to head out shortly to do more errands.

I've been up for a few hours (east coast). I ran 4 miles this morning and went to a great yoga class. Now DH is running. Tomorrow I'm supposed to run 13. I'm not thrilled with my winter running group, so every week I wonder if I should run with them or go off on my own. I keep sucking it up and going.
I have to AW my run this morning. I was nervous because January has been crap for training, and my last double digit run was sometime in December. So...
It was beautiful and sunny today, about 32 degrees, and I ran 15 miles. I didn't watch my splits much at all, and I ran 9:02 pace, which is better than my marathon PR pace. Today is a good day.
I did a run with a local running store this morning. They had Ragnar volunteers there talking about the race and free pancakes and sausage after the run. Plus 25% off shoes and 50% off anything in clearance if you ran with them. I can't resist a good deal so I got two more pairs of running shoes for $90 each instead of $120 and a bright yellow running jacket/windbreaker. It's been a great morning!
That sounds great! I'm guessing you bought more ghosts? I need to find a deal on another pair soon.

I wish our local groups did that! Like i need more running clothes.
I slept in until 8 this morning, and it was amazing! This week is a cutback week for me, so I got my 9 miles in and headed out to brunch with DH. Now we're just lounging around, and I have to go in to work at 3.
Got a rare run with my bestie in today. A glorious 14 miles through the pretty back roads of Napa. It was one of those runs that makes you so glad to be a runner.
Running with her and gabbing the whole way was a great way to stay in the 'conversational' effort level, and my time still came in with a pretty decent pace- within 16 seconds of my target marathon pace. And my body doesn't feel at all wrecked. I feel proud that I held my own with her this morning- she's a much more advanced runner than I am.

I woke up knocked on my butt with a terrible cold and cough. I had plans for a great run tomorrow, but instead I'm sure I'll spend it just like today - parked on the couch.
