Helping to throw a baby shower for a friend and I ended up in charge of invitations since I am the only one that doesn't live in the small town we're from (I'm in a larger city). Went out to a couple of invitation stores this afternoon but everything was pretty pricey even if I was going to print it myself at home. I need 30-35 invitations and want printed ones, not fill in the blank. Something cute but classy. She's having a girl. Any ideas of places to get less expensive invitations from? I do have a little bit of time before they absolutely must go in the mail so I could order something.
There is a groupon for zazzle was going to use. I think 40 invitations for $25, which includes shipping. We did this for our Xmas cards and they came out great! They arrived a week after I placed the order. Let me see if I can find the groupon.
I have gotten a file on etsy and printed them at office max. I normally pay $10 for the file and then a color copy is around $.75 on cardstock and then they cut them for $1 per trim which is normally 6 cuts (two long ones and then four across.
I would also second etsy then office max. I just got 60th bday invites for my parents $10 for the digital proof from etsy and then $29 at office max for 50 sheets of colored prints at 2 invites per sheet cut.

I would look around on Vista Print. They usually have coupons, too.
If you don't find a design you love on there, I know you can make your own design in Power Point, for instance, and upload it to the site, then just order the cards printed through them.
