I would definitely to a trip to Australia, New Zealand, and finish the month with some warmth in Fiji. We would spend time with my cousins in NZ and live it up in Sydney (with pippilongstocking). We would make a trip to visit @starbound also!
Safari in Africa! Or maybe south east Asia and Bora Bora. I'd just make sure the resort has a kids club, lol.
I will bring my kids in a safari before i die!!!! It's my lifelong dream
Maybe not at 3 and 2 though!
There was a travel agent in Watertown who specialized in it. Whenever I would drive by I would dream about the trip and how amazing it would be. I assume it would be like 20k for the family. One can dream though!

Cost is no concern, right?
I'd probably do Australia and New Zealand, or try somewhere in Asia for the first time (I've always wanted to see Japan).
My first #1 month-long dream trip is to traipse around Europe though, and we're actually doing that one this summer for five weeks (but I do really wish it was in the spring or fall instead!)
The kid isn't much of an issue since he's 17. (ETA: I sort by new topics so had no clue what board this was in! When DS was little, we didn't do much traveling. I'd probably want to do a month somewhere that had tree house hotels to stay in, forest, lake, hiking trails, and a playground if he was little).
Hawaii. We are already planning our next trip back. A month would make the flight and time change worth it with the little one. Plus...no epic blizzards, lol.
Australia. We are planning this for DH's sabbatical. possibly as early as Christmas 2016. He is taking a month off this summer but it's more of a paternity leave and with a 3m old we can't go too crazy. We're just going back east to visit family this time- probably 2.5 weeks.
It's funny- before kids I would have a million better ideas- especially if cost wasn't an issue. But with 2 kids soon, life certainly has to go down a notch for a few years.
Hopefully someday soon I'll be comfortable taking them to exotic places (and hopefully L grows out of his allergies) Someday a safari, more of Europe, Asia, India, my husband's ultimate dream is Antarctica (but possibly without the kids).

I used to live right near there! I went in once and you're right it's soooo expensive! But it looks really cool.
We are actually planning a trip like this right now. My H's job gives a one month sabbatical every 5 years. You get the month off and they pay for you to go somewhere you haven't been before. It's a really cool benefit. We used his 5 year to go on our honeymoon. We traveled all over South America. This time, we are looking at Eastern Europe. Lots of beautiful coast/lakes. I'm nervous about the flight and the logistics of being abroad with two toddlers! We found apartments to rent in most places and are going a cruise for a week of the trip. It is going to be amazing and I'm more excited than nervous, but definitely is going to be a very different trip.
A month at this age? Probably Hawaii or Florida. If costs were a concern, camping. Maybe rent an RV and drive to the Grand Canyon and around the western US.
When the kids are older, Europe or Africa. I'd love to go back to Asia, but definitely not until the kids are older.
Mine would never handle a 20 plus hour flight and all the sightseeing at this age
The flight is about 14 hours. I am non stop pintresting activities for the plane . Tons of good ideas and I'm also ok with bending my screen time rules and whipping out Daniel tiger on the iPad. A big chunk is at night and they will have their own seats, so I'm crossing everything they sleep part of the time. His best buddy went to Taiwan to see family last summer, so I'm talking to his mom a lot. They are good flyers (my H's family is on the easy coast, so they fly 3-4 times a year) but that's obviously a ton shorter. I'm also prepared the flight may be miserable.
Once we get there we are planning on doing things we know they like, just in a cool/more beautiful place. Lots of hiking, beach, lake, park etc... The cruise has child care, so that should give my H and I a little grown up time.
If only we could snap our fingers and be there! I have tons of international students at school and their parents make flights like this all the time. I know it can be done. Still...14 hours. Crossing everything, bringing snacks, and remembering it's only 2 days out of 30.
I would go to Italy and start in Florence and then slowly travel up through Tuscany and spend a week on Lake Garda in a villa and another week in Cinque Terra walking along the ocean and villages. Those were my two favorite little trips when I studied abroad and I'd love to bring my family.

An all inclusive maybe to the Dominican Republic or Mexico. It would have to be a kid friendly resort with baby sitting services. I would want somewhere with a short flight because a kid on a plane for a long period of time doesn't sound fun.
