Last week we ate like shit (and me not at all) because I had the flu. This week will be more of the same as I still feel too weak to brave the grocery store in light of the upcoming blizzard. I'm looking at it as an excuse to clean up our freezers (since we are likely to lose power anyway.) So far:
Mon: fishsticks with edamame Tue: sausage ravioli with jarred marinara Wed: lemon pepper chicken with creamed spinach
Hopefully by Thursday we are dug out and I can get to the grocery store!
Last night we had vegetable beef soup on the crock pot and beer bread. H is OOT the rest of the week so it's easy meals. M-leftovers T- chicken parmigiana, pasta, garlic bread W- pizza and salad at a family get together T- not sure?? F- out S- taco soup, broccoli cornbread

Sunday- turkey burgers, salad Monday- going to my parents' Tuesday- roast chicken, stuffing, green beans Wednesday- hamburger something Thursday- homemade meatballs in homemade sauce (I'm actually on the ball this week and made these last week and froze!) salad, rolls Friday- jalepeno popper chicken, rice, broccoli (who am I kidding....take out is pretty likely.)
Any ideas with hamburger? I'm drawing a blank and have a freezer full of hamburger.

I have a skirt steak marinating in soy sauce and a bit of vinegar. We had half of it as stir fry last night, what would you do with the piece I have left?

I have a skirt steak marinating in soy sauce and a bit of vinegar. We had half of it as stir fry last night, what would you do with the piece I have left?
Slice it thin, sautée and put it over rice with a sprinkle of sesame seeds, yum!

Last night: refrigerator pasta (as in, all the random veggies and sausage in the fridge sautéed with a bunch of garlic, tossed over pasta with leftover "cream" sauce) Mon: salmon, roasted potatoes, roasted broccoli and cauliflowers Tues: baked chicken breasts (maybe breaded, maybe marinated in Greek yogurt), with a tomato, avocado quinoa salad Wed: spicy shrimp pasta (buttered noodles and turkey dogs for the kids), with crusty bread and spinach Thurs: Girls' Dinner - not my week to cook Fri: leftovers or brinner Sat: pizza or something on tortillas
