1. How far along are you this week? 35 weeks! The 35/35 everyone talked about that seemed so far away and now is here! 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I'm so tired and my feet are so swollen and the heartburn is making me so sick, I wake up every night ready to throw up from the acid reflux. Then I take Mylanta which seems to be the only thing that helps, and it upsets my stomach. On the good side, my shower was on Saturday and it was so nice and we got SO much stuff, I was so touched at how generous everyone was! 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We tried for 10 months 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? Three cats, two are 11 year old littermates I adopted at 12 weeks, and the black and white one (on the right) is a stray that we found with her 4 tiny kittens under my friends house. She weighed 2 pounds at the time. We found homes for the kittens, and she's been with us about 6 years (vet thinks she's about 8 years old), she now weighs 10 pounds and pretty much runs my house.
These are their 3 little beds in our bedroom, usually the black and white one crawls into bed with the orange one, hilarious! Attachment Deleted

1. About 6 weeks 2. Starting to feel a little nauseated today. It usually hits me around 6 weeks. 3. We just had a blighted ovum in October. I want expecting to get knocked up this quick. DH is still in shock, I think. 4. No pets. Too much work for me. Maybe when DS is older.

1. How far along are you this week? 22 Weeks! 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I was told that I look cute this week! So, now that I have a bump and am loving the way I look...I'm dreading getting any bigger and not being so "cute" anymore. 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? Tried for 3-4 Years (lost track). Did 6 IUI's and 1.5 IVF cycles during the last 11 months of trying. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have a neglected fish who is nameless.

1. How far along are you this week? 31 weeks on Wednesday.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? GD sucks. Straight up.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? I'd been trying for 6 years -- in the process, I was divorced and remarried. We were getting ready to start IVF and waiting for CD#1. It never showed, but my BFP did.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? One border collie who's 17. I worry about whether she'll still be here by the time Bean comes.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Not much going on this week. I talked to my OB and he doesn't seem concerned about my enlarged lymph node. I just wish this stupid cold would finally go away.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We tried for about 10 months before seeing the RE. We finally got a BFP on our 6th IUI.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have one spoiled cat. His poor little world is going to be rocked when the baby arrives. I keep telling him that he's still my favorite boy.
1. How far along are you this week? 22 weeks 3 days
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I've started buying baby stuff. Planning to go to ikea this week to get a dresser for the baby's room. So excited.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? IVF BABY!!! There were no surprises, lol.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? Yes, Maddie. My first baby and the sweetest girl in this world.

1. 5w4d 2. Nothing. I still usually forget I'm pregnant (but I remember when I think about how nice a glass of wine would be right now). 3. We were not TTC. I wouldn't call it a surprise baby though. We knew there was a chance after getting carried away a couple of times and I had resigned myself to being pregnant during the 2ww as a result. So the BFP was definitely not a surprise. 4. No pets, don't anticipate ever owning pets.
1. How far along are you this week? 39+1 today 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I hit my wall after this weekend with all the differing doc opinions, daily visits and the fact that I'm just damn big and uncomfortable. I decided to throw in the towel and start mat. leave now. Thankfully my boss is super cool and said as long as I'm up for it I can come in and help train new staff so its great to have options. So here I wait until tomorrow's appointment.... 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? Trying for 9 cycles with a CP around cycle 4 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have too many. Lol. We have DHs dog-Juneau (husky mix), 3 jerk cats- Mario, Luigi and Koopa, a hamster- Bamboosh, a leopard gecko- Geico and about 50 million fish. We lost 2 dogs eariler this year as well- DHs other husky, Sitka and my girl, Priscilla. I really miss my Cilla

1. How far along are you this week? 8 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Not enjoying morning sickness, but get anxious on days when I feel "too good" as well.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? Not sure if surprise is the right word, but it was kind of unexpected. I never had a pp period after DS was born last year and have a long history of not ovulating. We weren't using BC, but were anticipating I'd need to go back to the RE for clomid when we were ready to officially try this later in 2015.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have a small saltwater fishtank. That's about all I can handle caring for.

1. How far along are you this week? 8 weeks 4 days 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I've been sick with a cold for like 5 days and feel worse from overnight. My doc said I can take Sudafed but it's not helping. Also I'm so damn hungry all the time. I've been eating like shit. 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We were trying for about 7 months-Sort of weird for us because our daughter was conceived on the first try. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)?2 Dogs, Pablo a nine year old Australian Shepherd and Bailey an almost 15 year old Boxer/Pit mix.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I'm just starting to dip my toes into this 'going public' business and testing the waters here. I know all the boards are GBCN but if my H&F/DC/FB peeps (I think there's a couple of you here) could refrain from putting me on blast before I put myself on blast I'd appreciate it. Don't know why it feels like such a big step to tell my i-friends but it is what it is.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? I had been off BCP since April and we know where babies come from and all but my cycles were all jacked post BCP. I was planning on making and appointment with my GYN to talk about it after the holidays. It didn't even occur to me to test until I was talking to a friend about my super short super light period the cycle before and she was all 'oh that happened to me the cycle I got preg. You should test.' I couldn't stop thinking about what she said so I tested, fully expecting a negative. That is not what happened.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? 2 kitty cats.

Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? IVF baby, no surprise. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? No pets

1. 28 weeks (though somehow I've been off a week and was SURE I was 29 weeks. Oy vey.) 2. Just had my first prenatal massage and it was pure heaven! Not sure if I liked the actual massage or the table with the cut out for my belly the most. First time in 4 months I've been able to lay on my stomach! And first time I've not had massive hip pain, so I consider it a win/win 3. I had been off of my BC for about year and we knew that we wanted to actively start trying after our wedding in July. Got pregnant wedding weekend. 4. Gus, the bulldog (in my siggy, with another shot of him staging a sit-in in the bassinet box) & Olive, the 3-legged mutt (don't say "awwww" either. She's a monster, albeit a pretty one)

Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We were not trying but not trying to prevent, I guess you can say we had been in this state well over a year which is when we had our first loss 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? MY MUGSY!!!! 4 year old Australian Shepherd, best friend, and love!

1. How far along are you this week? 24w1d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I was supposed to have my glucose test tomorrow, followed by an ultrasound and my monthly check with the OB, but with the blizzard coming I moved it all to Friday.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? We were trying, this baby was the result of an IUI. We'd been trying for about a year at that point and the first IUI did the trick. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have one very spoiled 10 month old kitty named Wally.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Vents: My upper back has been killing me lately. I don't know if it's my bra or posture or what, but it's so annoying. My anxiety is increasing lately. I just find myself worrying about everything. Worrying about getting sick and being sick while I"m in labor. Worrying about the baby being okay. Worrying about getting through labor. Worrying about being able to breastfeed. Ugh. I've been pretty good this whole pregnancy with my anxiety but lately I'm just finding things to worry about!
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We were trying for 4 months. I had went off BCP in October 2013 but we still used condoms through Jan. 2014 so my body could regulate and because I had to have an outpatient procedure in January requiring anesthesia. Started TTC in Feb. 2014, BFP June 2014.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? One pup named Daisy.
I totally hear you on the anxiety, it just set in for me too. This is getting real!
1. How far along are you this week? 5W3D 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Pregnancy is fine, it is the rest of life that is stressful. Snowmaggedon and a poorly DH to deal with. 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We were trying for about 4 months. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? We have two dogs and two cats. Dulcie
1. How far along are you this week? 34 weeks 5 days 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I started having back/pelvis/stomach pain today, which freaked me out given that I am in the blizzard zone and will be trapped in my house for the next few days. 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? We had just decided to start trying, so good timing I guess! 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? Yes, a rescue dog. Sorry, I'm not sure how to post pics.
1. How far along are you this week? 14+5 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We finally told my inlaws the big news this weekend. We made a cake but my MIL knew when we walked in since we never just stop by. It went better than expected. We did get about a 2 hour lecture about all the best baby gear (she runs an in home daycare). I didn't tell her all this info is easily available on the internet. Oh yeah, and when we bring the baby home DH MUST be the one to carry the baby in the first time with the dogs there. Ok, just smile and nod... 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We were just a couple weeks shy of the one year mark and in our second month of fertility drugs. 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? Two wild mutts!

10 weeks? Shut up! So you knew in Kiawah?
I'm so excited for you!!!!!!!
I didn't know yet in Kiawah, but it was a conversation with Boston Lauren that prompted me to test when I got home.
I had not a clue going into the weekend because I had just had what I thought was a super light super short early period like 1.5 weeks before. I recall being relieved I wouldn't have my period at kiawah because it had randomly showed up early.
