Three of our cats know their names. Like even recognize if you say their name buried in regular toned conversation. Our forth, we've had for 3 1/2 years and still haven't guessed her name. We spend evenings throwing out random words to see if she responds. Have even tried other languages. Nothing yet. The only way to get to her to respond is to either start petting another cat or pretend you are petting another cat
this made me laugh bc this will be the first cat to suffer an identity crisis.
My cousin had a cat with a name like this. She was Lassie Tiger Fred Sparkles Cookie Rainbow. We all called her LassieTigerFred for short. The cat answered to that. It was a great name for a great cat.
