We use the suave spray detangler. You've seen how curly DD's hair is and it is super fine. That's the only thing that works to detangle her curlsn we also use The Wet Brush and it is amazing.
We have the same issue in our house. My girls are extremely dramatic about brushing their hair most days. I'm sure most of it's just protest vs actually hurting bad enough to freak out. We have the Paul Mitchell Kids Taming Spray that does help some. I think sometimes the bubble gum smell of it just gets them excited and they forget to freak out. It does help when their hair is wet, I have to admit that. When we brush it dry is when we have the most issues. I feel you on this! We even have those Knot Genie brushes and they're still not a perfect solution

I can not even imagine dealing with 3 of my DD and the freak out when we brush hair - you have my sympathies!
Even DS now when we brush his hair - which takes two seconds - says ow, ow, ow mommy. Monkey see, monkey do!
I have really tangly hair. I use a Moroccan oil blend after washing and the next time I wash it, it's much more manageable. It smells good too. There was a spray I used to get from one of those mall places, Regis? It was pretty amazing. I've heard good things about It's a 10 too.

Oh goodness yes girl. I have four full heads of hair to do when we go out. Even the baby has too much to just brush and go. I think a big part of it is monkey see, monkey do at our house too. Baby girl never really complains, she furrows her brow and gives me a look but that's about all. Lol
I have been using the biolage leave in conditioner in my 2 year olds hair. It really works well. She gets super knots and it is the only thing I have found to work. I also use Paul Mitchell green tea shampoo and conditioner on her hair. Her hair is curly and down to the middle of her back.
I use the suave kids detangler spray and a wet brush…on myself. Honestly, the wet brush was a game changer. Before that, I was ripping out chunks of hair just trying to brush through it after a shower.

Get a wet brush! I started using one about six months ago, life changing. It looks like a regular paddle brush but it's not and it really helps with getting the snarls and tangles out. FWIW, my stylist calls me a tender head.

I use Bumble and Bumble's Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer. It works as a detangler, tames frizz, protects hair from heat and UV rays to reduce breakage, and is sulfate and alcohol free which helps keep color longer. It's super light, doesn't weigh hair down, and is great on coarse hair too.

I just have a spray bottle into which I put a dash of conditioner and fill with water. Seriously works better than any leave-in I've had. BUT, I would encourage you to detangle while her hair is already wet and with conditioner already in it (wide tooth comb) if you can. If not, then use the spray in and comb.
