I like to make simple, but cute, valentines for DD's daycare friends. Not all out Pinteresty, but a little more than the store bought**. Maybe it's the primary teacher in me.
What are you doing this year for valentines?
This is what I did last year. Simple, easy, quick but cute. (daycare asked us to address them all to my friend) Attachment Deleted
Adorable! But how do you make cute tags so "easy" -That would take my years!
I have a Cricut at home and a huge computerized cutter machine at school. That's what made the pink scalloped flower thing. Then I just printed the saying and cut it out in a circle. Taped it on and done!
We can't send in food to either daycare or school for the girls, but I found a printable bookmark that I'll send in with DD1(for first grade) that says "You're #1 in my book," we'll tie a piece of ribbon at the top, and DD1 will sign the to/from at the bottom. Really cute Don't know yet about DD2 & 3 though.

I have some crazy straws in my cart that I was going to attach an "I'm crazy about you" printable to, but I think the kids are a little young for it. I know if that got sent home to DS, I'd probably throw it away, but I like the idea!

I showed DS1 the options here and told him about the ones without pictures. He chose this one! Nice, simple, and cheap! Thanks!!
How old are your kids when you start doing this stuff? DS got a valentine from a classmate last year when he was 9 months old. I was all - what is this overachieving bullshit? However I liked the family that gave them out, so it didn't change my favorable opinion of them. Ha.

Im with you! I was just reading this thread thinking, "oh god, I hope I don't have to do valentines for my one year old!" Surely the teachers would tell me if so, right?!

DD1 is in a 2 year old preschool class. We were told we didn't have to do Valentines but there were bags for each kid so we could if we wanted to. It wouldn't have even occurred to me to do them. But I feel like we have to do them now.
I did applesauce pouches with "You're my main SQUEEZE" tags.
I'm doing this for DD2's class 18 months-2years.
For DD1, I can't find a pic, but we'll do mini play-doh. The label brand Avery has round stickers that fit perfectly in the middle of the lid, and they have free Valentine's templates. This will be the 3rd time we do this in a row for her, as it's cheap and easy.

We did Valentines when he was 13 months old, but they were just simple ones from Target. I don't think I included a treat but I can't remember.
Last year (2yo) we gave out bouncy balls like this:
This year he's 3 & I haven't decided yet what we're giving out.
