I've tried it with lipstick - it smeared off pretty quickly. I even set it with heavy duty fx makeup setter. I had better results using orange eyeshadow. That kept it on all day.

I tried it today with a yellow/orange colout from a cheap wheel thing I have. It works!
The only thing is - I kind of had to cake the foundation/concealer on in order to hide the yellow. Is that right? I guess I dont normally wear that much make up.
I've heard of using red lipstick in the concealing process.
I have a salmon cover up from Bobbi Brown that is really good. My skin is so light that I can totally see using bolder shades for someone with darker skin.
I tried the salmon eye shadow this morning, didn't work. I tried the Green concealer, didn't work. I think I am going to head to Target at lunch and try the Pixi peach concealer and maybe get a yellow one too. So now I am at work with green and peach under my eyes and you can still see my dark circles. I probably look like a crazy lady. lol!
I tried the bright salmon eye shadow. I did foundation first then stuck a whole bunch of the eyeshadow to the foundation. Then concealer on top. I only did it on one eye. The one on the left.

bania, I know I tell you this all the time, but you are SO BEAUTIFUL and have the best skin!
I think I can tell a tiiiny bit of difference, but your under-eye area doesn't seem dark to me to begin with.
How was the texture doing it that way? I'm curious about how the lipstick would have a weird built up texture, but maybe using eyeshadow like you did would be ok.

(heart) (heart) You are so gorgeous. Thank you. I struggle with my skin. Don't zoom in. Lol.
I feel like maybe the light is flattering my under eye area. I'll see if I can take one with more unforgiving lighting.
The texture was fine. I knew it needed something to stick to so I applied it over a layer of foundation. Then concealer and finishing powder on top. It's not caking up on my so far. I feel like lipstick would need a few good layers of powder under and over it.
Alright, first picture I have some coral lipstick lightly applied around my right eye (and am otherwise makeup-less, I must be crazy to post this) nothing on left. Second photo I have the coral color on my lips for comparison, concealer alone on left eye and concealer over lipstick on right. Third photo is all makeup done and both eyes with lipstick first. I think It definitely makes a difference, and I will do it with a more orange-coral next time with a little less than even this amount. I don't think you need nearly as much as she was using if you don't otherwise wear much makeup. I only do my eye makeup and use concealer around my eyes so without foundation or CC cream or powder the lipstick is hard to cover.

You're such a babe. Okay I can definitely see a difference. Your eyes look bigger and brighter. How do you conceal it after you apply the lipstick? Which ones do you use?
For anyone having issues with this, I can think of a couple tips that have been helpful for me. The first thing I'd check for is to make sure the corrector isn't way too dark. Also, if you don't have really severe discoloration, you won't really need a color as intense as what she used in the video. You also want to make sure you're only using the corrector on the blue/purple area. If you're putting it where it doesn't need it, it's probably going to make that area just look orange and just kind of weird. As with many things in makeup, a little goes a long way.

Ditto, girl! I use Bobbi Brown concealers, but not the undereye concealer because I find it is too thick and cakey. I like as little product as possible, and apply directly with my fingers. I basically dappled it on top of the lipstick.
I have undereye fat deposits and no matter how much sleep I get, people always ask me if I haven't slept. I do not have dark circles along with them. Any ideas how I mask those? I've tried Prep H, cold spoons, eye creams. Nothing short of plastic surgery is going to help. (wilted)

Have you considered restalyn? It might not completely fix it but will fill in around the deposits to make them not stand out as much.

I have thought about Botox for my 11s, so I might just do a consult for both. Thanks for the recommendation.
everyjuan AH! You're so pretty. Your eyes are unreal. Okay so it looks really really good! That's too bad about the texture though. I did the eye shadow again this morning. A little heavier eye shadow and heavier with the concealer. It worked better today!
bania Aw thank you! Right back at ya! Yeah, if it weren't for the texture, I would keep up with it for sure. Maybe I'll try it again but with a primer underneath.
I'm glad to hear that the eye shadow worked! I'll give that a try next.
