Yup...about six inches so far and counting.  They're saying something like 2-4 inches per hour until the morning for a total of 24-36".  Ugh.

Nope, and nothing much in the forecast either.

It's been an odd winter with plenty of mild temps (between short cold snaps) and not much snow. I have grass showing in my yard and it was 42 degrees today.

I'm in Minnesota. My parents in far northern MN (45 minutes from Canada) barely have any snow, even. More than me but still-not much.

He is! He said it sucks when they're called off because then they all just go back to camp and twiddle their thumbs. Even worse for him because he wasn't allowed into his room because he has a night sleeper. But they worked over 3 hours so they get paid for 8 today. However that works, lol.

It get's a little colder where I'm at so it was -44 today. I got my car stuck in the snow in my driveway and had a crying fit before I just abandoned it and went back inside. A few hours later, I looked outside and a few of my neighbors were out there trying to dig it out. Sometimes this weather is not the best, but I really love the way everyone here sticks together and helps each other out.  That would never happen in L.A.!

Currently 46F/8C and partially sunny in London. I'm hoping the French alps are getting snow right now and will get snow next week (as I'll be skiing!).

Lucky duck! The Pyrenees are supposed to get hammered this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if the Alps got a hearty dose of snow as well.
