Tell me that you just pay the $150 for the Chicago Bar Association's CLE Advantage package, so you can let the CLE seminars run in the background while you are doing other stuff and still get the CLE credit. It is the best system I have found for IL CLE.
Girl, you know I do. But I haven't done it yet for this year. I'm also trying to see if any of my classes count towards hours. Especially since one of them is taught through the law school here.
Incidentally, there's a social media and professional ethics CLE that is so fucking awesome. It's worth listening to in the FOREground. I was crying laughing at some of the stupid shit people do on FB.
Ooh, I bet some of the classes do.
I have not done the Social Media one yet, but that sounds like it may be worth it to do!
I love the program they have. Since I live and work in the burbs there is no effing way I'm hauling ass into the city for a three hour workshop on whateverthefuck. Video I can watch at work? YES PLEASE.
i booked our hotel for the zombie convention and all i know is i am looking forward to the following:
sleeping in sleeping in a bed ALONE taking a shower taking the time to get dressed and put makeup on eating at new places seeing zombie stuff seeing the city
Zombie convention? How do I not know of this? Where is this? When I went to SDCC 2 years ago we went to Robert Kirkman's panel for the 10 year anniversary of the WD comic book and I got in a small fight with a guy in front of me who hadn't read the comic and was getting mad because Robert was talking about things that hadn't happened in the show. He yelled "spoilers" when someone asked a question and I told him that something that happened over a year ago can't be a spoiler.
We close on the sale of our townhouse today. I'm happy because I've wanted to move for a really long time but the market was not good and we were not financially able to afford to move to a nicer plane anyway, but packing up the house, especially the kid's room was kind of emotional. Now we just have to suffer a few months in our tiny rundown short term rental as we wait for our house to get done.

@fucksticklegit nuggetbrain help a sista out. Why is there a 14 pager on ML about a surprise pregnancy? I was too lazy to read but it appears as if the OP GBGBCN?

A regular said some stuff about her "surprise" pregnancy and some others called her out about some previous shitty shit she'd said about a co worker getting pregnant/divorced/miscarrying/KU by a rando/dating some other rando ersumshit... she GBCGBCN'd and it devolved into gifs and me making my faces and randomness.

Like an asshole, I started watching American Horror Story before bed (this is the only time I get to myself). I started with season 2 because it's apparently a fan favorite. I did NOT realize it would be fraught with demonic possession. I look forward to sleeping again in roughly a month.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

OP: I have a surprise pregnancy and can't get excited. Did you feel that way?
someone: You weren't preventing / using BC. How is that a surprise? Good luck sorting your feelings out, though.
OP: FUCK YOU AND OTHER PERSON WHO LIKED YOUR POST!
other person: ok? fuck you too? I didn't post here.
OP: I GET ANXIETY AND YOU ARE BITCHES. WHY DOES IT MATTER HOW I GOT PREGNANT?
people: you had anxiety about infertility when you didn't conceive a baby on your first try.
everyone: //uncomfortable
me: you gossiped about someone's miscarriage and unplanned pregnancies once. Maybe you shouldn't be screaming about how people are taking jabs at you right now. (I judge that poster hard-core over that and am not sorry I brought this up from a few months ago).
OP: GBCN
I don't know what happened from there. I think it's probably gifs?
I'm a bebe, so I just started applying for jobs for when I graduate in May. I still haven't decided if it is too early or not, but the internet has made me anxious. I'm still probably doing it wrong.

All our interns right now have "real" jobs for when they graduate in May.

Minnesota has one of those too. I downloaded the on demand version and re-listened to certain portions when I was having a bad day once.

I'm going to remain positive and take this as I'm not applying too early instead of I'm fucked and applying too late. At least I have a job (not an internship) right now. I just need another job halfway across the country in 4-5 months.

It depends on whether the companies you're targeting want to hire specifically recent grads or are open to recent grads and other folks.
Either way-too late to lose sleep over it. Network your butt off and submit lots of applications.

I figured out how to link charts to excel in a powerpoint presentation, and I feel like a genius. (I know it is actually pretty easy, but I had never done it before.)
I fell asleep at 9:00 last night, and had to fight to stay up that long. I hope that doesn't become a habit. I have stuff to read.

My goal is to ignore work and comment on every one of your posts as fast as I can. And that spoiler thing is fun! Except fuckstick you should go to the corner for the Palm tree - or at least NSFW spoiler alert it!
Today is my first day back at work and people are coming over and hugging me and stuff. One of the bigwigs here hugged me just now and said bigwig was musty.

Oops, I accidentally posted this in the @randoms.
One step forward, two steps back.
I accidentally ally set off the smoke detector while cooking, and my dog had a fit. Now he's scared to be in here, even if I'm there. He is shaking and whining as I type this.
So so mad at myself. Not even sure how to deal with this, on top of his existing separation anxiety.
