At the kitchen table or out on the patio. In nice weather I will happily eat all meals outside. We have been TV-less for most of our marriage, so that's not really an option.
We eat at the kitchen table, but just because it's easier since we don't have a coffee table in the living room. I would eat in front of the tv if it wasn't a pain getting the food there.
In the living room using the coffee table. If we sat at our dining room table it would be three feet behind where we usually sit since it's all one open space.

Man, I really miss dinners of cereal in front of the tv.
We usually ate in front of the tv in the living room pre-kids. Now meals are at the table with no tv or electronics allowed. I do play music sometimes. We occasionally have picnic nights where I throw a blanket out on the living room floor and we eat and watch a movie.

We eat at the breakfast table in our kitchen. The TV is on 90% of the time. Before we moved into our current house we ate on the couch/coffee table. We're becoming more refined, apparently.
Holiday meals are at our dining room table, even if it's just the two of us.

I've eaten in front of the TV since I was a teenager. Once my oldest was old enough for a high chair, we started eating at the table. And... I hate it. I can't wait until I can go back to that but my youngest is way too messy.

Pretty much what @tambcat said. We ate on the couch in front of the TV before kids, and now do the same after they're in bed.
I am not looking forward to doing a sit down meal once the kids are old enough, but we will. I want to establish it now so when they're angsty teenagers they have to come interact with the family at the dinner table.
The biggest hurdle will be clearing off all the crap that's currently on our table. It's become a dump site for random things - mostly kid related.

At the kitchen table, TV off. It's kind of a thing for me to have dinner nightly where we actually talk to each other. We do sometimes listen to music in the background if we had it on while cooking.
In our apartment, we ate on the couch, watching TV. But we didn't have a dining table of any kind. Now we eat at the kitchen table. When we're both home, TV is off. When I eat alone, TV is on in the kitchen
Usually at the table, but the table is basically in the living room, so, yeah. The TV is always on when we're home from work. I do sometimes eat on the couch, but DH prefers the table.
