OMG, that looks so good! - do report back on ease of prep and tastiness.
I am all about the commercials, the beer, and ALL OF THE FOOD.
We are going snowmobiling for a long weekend and not coming home till Monday, so we will watch the game at whatever bar has the best food spread. (read as, the girl will be near the fire, belly up to the bar at Daikers)
I have DDs. My Dad has a Superbowl party every year and invites us and his neighbors over. Lots of good food (beef on weck- yummy). Obviously we won't be staying until the end since it's a school night. They really should change the Superbowl to a Saturday night, imo.
We are going to a party with a bunch of guys from work to watch on some big screen. I've never gotten into watching it on tv, but d enjoy it live for some reason even though I do not fully understand it's rules/penalties etc. But I enjoy anywhere that keeps me well fed, and the guys should be a fun group
BF and I are just planning on watching it together at home. I'm going to make a few snacks, definitely wings and probably some kind of dip. We've talked about doing meatballs/little smokies in BBQ sauce and having some cheese/sausage/crackers, but that's a TON of food for 2 of us so I may have to limit it lol. And beer for sure.
I am really looking forward to just hanging out and having some quality time together, eating yummy food, and watching the commercials/halftime show. I don't care about either team so I'm also hoping it's a close game so I can actually get excited about what's happening. Last super bowl was so boring since it was a blowout. But boring with good food I guess
Actively avoiding it. Last year FI and I went to a bar and by the end of the night my tab (alone) was $120. I don't want to do that again. I think he's still pretty mad that the Cowboys are out so I'm hoping he doesn't want to watch it. I love making tiny fun appetizers though. sadface.
I will be watching it but I am leaning towards just watching it at home so I can get other things down and cut down on travel time. I may invite two friends over but we'll see, I'm kind of looking forward to watching it in my jammies which I can't do if friends come over, haha.
I plan to cancel my cable once the SB is over, aaaaah!

I think I am going to a friends house to watch the game. I'm moving that morning so it would be so nice to just sit at home and relax but I won't have a tv hooked up yet.
I am not sure what I want to do, my team is in the game, so I definitely will be watching. I was planning to go out and have a good time, but I leave for Dallas at 6am the next day (what was I thinking when I booked that). The bar inside my apartment complex has $17 all you can drink domestic drafts, so I might just have a friend over and do that, so I can get home and in bed quickly.

Bar INSIDE your apartment complex? I want to move in!

Lol, yeah its pretty convenient. Not a huge place but they have a projector outside for games on the patio, serve Mediterranean food and have decent drink specials. Its on a little pond thing right outside the gym, and its always so tempting to stop by when I work out late. We also have a convenience mart, 6 pools, and a 2k sq ft fitness center with classes M-Th. Not a bad set up, but I definitely pay for it.
Staying at home, make lots of appetizers, and maybe having a few people over. I'm looking forward to it because I'll make enough appetizers that there will be leftovers for next week's lunches. Yay!

I want to get invited to a party but I don't know anyone who is having one. I have no tv service and two little girls so I'm sure I'll be doing something like grocery shopping or laundry.
Nope! One friend is having a party on the South Shore but that's too far from me. Another wanted to go to a bar, in Boston. lololol no!
calle28 I like their chicken or pork gyoza dumpings - super easy to make. Or their cheese is well priced so I get that and the italian meat sampler for a charcuterie board.
DH and I are going to a party at a friend's house. I'll be making Seahawk jello shots, and wearing my Richard Sherman jersey, watching the game on a 10' screen. So excited!
Going to a friend's house for her Super Bowl party. I have no idea what to bring.
Any recommendations from Trader Joes?
Got a Crock Pot?
If so get the following
3 bags of TJs Party Meatballs (the little ones) or the Turkey Meatballs 2 cans/jars of cranberry sauce 1 16 oz (or larger) jar of salsa (pick your heat level)
Melt cranberry sauce on the stove and add in salsa. Put meatballs in crock pot and pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs. Heat on low until meatballs are cooked.
I tend to make a double batch and just fill the crock pot with meatballs and double the sauce recipe.
