I am waiting at the hair salon to get my hair cut! It has been at least a year and I am considering doing something drastic! I am a spur of the moment type of gal. Yay!!

PDQ There have been strange things afoot at work lately. I decided to have a short chat with my boss (the owner) about some things I had been told. Turns out someone very high up is getting the ax. Keep in mind we are less than a month from opening, and the owner is meeting with new candidates for the position. I am super confident in my boss, and he assures me my job is rock solid. It is super awkward being around this person now, knowing that their days are numbered. But the company will be so much better after it happens.

S takes one bottle of formula when I'm at work. I poured the water last night to set it up for my fil. V said she was going to shake it. This morning, the bottle was nowhere to be found. I just found it in the freezer.
I realized this afternoon that I needed to bake cookies for G's preschool class tomorrow and when I mentioned it at work my boss requested some too. Lol. (We have a small, close knit department so this was not a weird request.) I made a new lemon sugar cookie Pinterest recipe I'd been wanting to try and it is delicious!
ETA - with a pic because I'm a nerd who takes pictures of cookies.

Mmmmm, I love lemon things. I'd love the recipe!
Let me find the link. Hopefully there are still some left tomorrow!

So is Stella a bad, trendy name now days? It's my husband's favorite by far, and I pushed it off because it seemed really popular. Well there was a little girl tonight with the name and I kind of liked it.

I like it! I also really like Selah.
I think Selah is really pretty too... I've only ever met one little girl with that name

We just left for the 12 hour drive to Phoenix. I'm just hoping they both sleep most of the way. So far Autumn is blowing raspberries and the following conversations have taken place with Aiden. 'I can't sleep in mommy car, I have to sleep in my big boy bed at home'
His fisher price puppy keeps randomly going off in the back and I said to DH that is was possessed. 'Just like mommy?' Umm, Why's that? 'Because it sings a lot' Oh, Hmm.
'There's stars in the sky' 'I need a ladder to go see the stars'
katfco those are good "but ifs" to have. We were in a similar situation last spring. I hope it moves quickly for you!!!
They are, but only if the timing works out. If DH's boss insists on a commitment and we haven't heard from the school, we'll have to decide. Do we commit to DH's job and risk turning down a possible offer for me? Because if DH is required to commit and can't he'll be laid off at the end of March.
If you get the job will he quit one way or another because you have to move? If so why would it matter whether he takes the job or not?
You will have to let me know how you like it! I have a Britax that I'm thinking about getting one of those for.
I wouldn't do it. We had the City Mini and bought the glider board for it. It sucked because the handle bars don't come out far enough for the bigger kid to put their head through so you end up having to walk all awkward or out to the side. I think the Britax would be the same.
Sorry MrsG2U!! I hope it works for you but I found that part to be far too annoying.
ETA: I love the name Stella!!
That's what I am afraid of. Hmm if that doesn't work I'm not sure what to do. Ada refused sitting in the stroller nowadays, and I love the Britax for infants.

Which Britax do you have?
B-ready. This one. It can be a double too but unless Ada likes strollers more soon I'm not sure I want to spend money on a second seat.

Because if I don't get a full-time job and he doesn't get a new position, he'll be laid off as of the end of March. The company is dong a complete restructuring, so almost everyone's jobs are going away and they have to reapply for these new positions. And all of those decisions are being made at the end of February.
