i've got my ulta 20% off coupon, and i think i want either Naked on the Run or the new Tartlette palette (NotR was excluded from the dec coupon, but it's not this time).
i have all 3 naked palettes so the shadows appeal to me, as does having everything in one case...but i don't know how much i'd actually use the bronzer shade.
i've been trying to get more into matte shadows lately, versus all shimmer all the time, so the matte shadows in the tartlette would be perfect for that. BUT i don't know how much i'd use the lighter shades on the left of the palette.

Well NotR is an all in one and used for travel, etc. If that's what you need than yes, go for it. I feel like if you have the other N palettes there's not much of a differentiation and not worth it if you're just looking for more eye shadow. The tarte palette is gorgeous and I'd go with that.
I lean towards the naked one because I'm not loving the matte shadows in the tarte.
Although -- Have you seen NotR in person? Will the blush and gloss work for you? Will it be useful to you to have it all in one for travel or everyday use? I never carry eyeshadows in my bag for everyday - I use a good primer and I'm good to go. Therefore that isn't a huge deal for me that it's an all encompassing kit. Also if you want to wear a different lip product will it fit in here?
I don't know, I guess I'm on the fence and not really much help to you. Sorry!
I have the Tarte palette and it is literally my most favorite makeup item I've ever gotten. I have really dry skin, so I try to keep my face looking "dewy" so it doesn't dry out, and shimmer shadows are just too much on top of the dewy face. So the mattes work perfectly for me. They are so creamy and blend really easily. I use every single color except for "Dreamer" - it is just a little too brown for me. I use the three darkest as liners. I mix and match the lighter colors as bases with the medium colors as accents. They all work well with each other - I mix and match the rows all the time. The case is great, too - it really latches tightly and I'll actually be able to travel with it. It really is perfect. I love it!

I couldn't decide but I ended up getting both! I know no help but I really like the Tarte the best. The only reason I ended up getting NOTR is because I needed a new eyeliner and mascara and figured for the price might as well get it so I can try new stuff and I really like the lipgloss color that came with it.

I say Tarte too. NotR seems like those crappy art boxes you'd get as a kid with the dried out markers, bricks of "watercolor" paints and that ultra shitty brush.
We are soul mates because this is *exactly* how I feel about NotR.
I like both, but in fairness, i haven't seen either in person so I don't know what each looks like in IRL to know how I feel about that blush/bronzer combo. I like the convenience of having everything in one in the NOTR but those shadows are pretty and I think I'd get a lot of use out of those colors.
